The lower grade of primary school is the key period to cultivate students’ oral ability of mathematical language.The cultivation of students’ mathematical language ability can enhance students’ understanding and cognition of mathematical knowledge,which is not only the need for students’ development,but also the requirement of new curriculum standards,and is more helpful to cultivate students’ mathematics thinking.However,in the current mathematics classroom,it is common for teachers to neglect the development of students’ mathematical oral ability.Through this research,I hope to understand the actual situation in the second grade mathematics classroom under the background of the new curriculum reform.For the second year of primary school mathematics teaching to provide the corresponding mathematical language oral expression ability training strategy,for teachers professional development for training direction.At the same time,it can enrich the relevant research of mathematics language in primary schools,provide theoretical reference for the methods of mathematics teaching and learning in the lower grades,and provide theoretical basis for the new curriculum reform and mathematics teaching reform.This paper takes the students and teachers of the grade of the author’s work school as objects,and analyzes the existing relevant data by using literature method.And using questionnaire method,interview method and test method to investigate the present situation of students’ mathematical language oral expression ability,and on this basis,to analyze the reasons,and put forward the second grade students mathematical language oral expression ability training strategies.The full text consists of four parts.The first part introduces the reasons for choosing the topic,expounds the significance of the study,defines the core concept,combs the relevant literature,introduces the theoretical basis,and shows the research design.The second part analyzes the data of questionnaire,interview and test.Questionnaire was used to understand the students’ understanding of oral expression ability of mathematical language.The interview method was used to understand the teachers’understanding of the students’ oral ability of numerology.By using the test method,this paper makes an in-depth investigation on the present situation of oral expression ability of mathematical language of primary school students.The third part discusses the problems of oral expression ability of mathematical language and the reasons.The main problems existing in the oral expression of mathematical language of the second grade students in our school are fuzzy and incomplete mathematical language,confusion and inaccuracy of mathematical language,non succinct oral expression,great difference in level and difference in field.The reasons come from various aspects,such as teachers’ unreasonable teaching design,small demons tration role,lack of sense of responsibility;students’ weak grasp of basic knowledge,poor mathematical reading comprehension,and fear of difficulties;unreasonable school evaluation system,local parents tend to adopt a laissez faire way of education.In the fourth part,it puts forward some strategies to cultivate students’ oral ability of mathematical language.Teachers need to renew their own teaching ideas,adopt appropriate teaching strategies,adjust teaching atmosphere,improve the effectiveness of classroom questioning,strengthen the role of demonstration.Students should understand that if they want to improve their oral ability,self-confidence is a prerequisite,more expression is a necessary condition,active initiative is an accelerator,thinking is the intrinsic motivation.The school should improve the evaluation system.Parents actively cooperate with the school and teachers.Local governments should improve the teaching staff.
