The New Curriculum Standards of Senior High School History Subject(2020)requires schools to introduce local history resources into teaching,and cultivate students'love for their hometown by using familiar people,architecture,customs,etc.Through the friendly local history resources,abstract,blunt and distant historical knowledge can be visualized and embodied by students.Thus,it will contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of classroom teaching.The application of local history resources in high school history teaching is an important measure to promote the implementation of the new curriculum standards.By introducing and applying local history resources,it is helpful to cultivate students' core literacy of history subject,guide students to feel historical materialism,update the concept of time and space,enhance the consciousness of historical data demonstration,thus,deepen historical interpretation,promote students' comprehensive development,and consciously become the ones who take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.It is necessary and accessible to integrate Harbin's rich local historical resources into the history teaching of senior high schools.According to the chapter system of the textbook,local history resources are extended and expanded,which can be effectively connected with the content of the textbook.Through the analysis of the actual case of No.6 Middle School in Harbin,we can understand the application and supporting role of local history resources in the high school history teaching.In classroom teaching,the use of local history resources from the lead-in part to generating exercises can not only enrich the teaching contents,but also add the credibility and authenticity of history,which help students experience history,strengthen the historical thinking,and grasp the historical knowledge effectively.In the practical teaching,it guides students to enter the historical situation through field investigation,social practice and exploration,which initially cultivate students' historical research ability.In the process of compiling school-based textbooks,integrating local history resources into the textbooks can fully meet the personalized characteristics.Moreover,it will enrich and improve the history teaching system of senior high schools,and guide students to establish a scientific view of history.The application of local history resources in history teaching has a clear role in promoting the development of teachers and students.But as a new teaching method,it is inevitable that there are some shortcomings.Based on theoretical thinking and empirical analysis,this paper attempts to put forward four aspects of measures and suggestions to guide the local history into classroom effectively and improve the quality of history teaching in high school.
