The reform of the college entrance examination system not only affects the future and destiny of hundreds of millions of Chinese youth, but also has a significant impact on the realization of the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.2014 has witnessed a new round of college entrance examination reform, which has been carried out in an efficient orderly manner nationwide, and Liaoning Province has been implementing the new college entrance examination reform program since the fall of 2018 as the third batch of pilot provinces of college entrance examination. As an ordinary high school teacher who is experiencing the new college entrance examination reform,I understand the profound impact of the new college entrance examination reform on front-line teaching, and I am also aware of the depth of the state’s emphasis on ideological and political theory course in recent years. In this context of the need of the times and the importance the state attaches to ideology and politics education,it is of great theoretical and practical significance for the education and teaching of non-elective political science subjects under the new college entrance examination system to analyze the impact of the new college entrance examination reform on non-elective subjects, especially on the teaching dilemma of non-elective political science subjects, and then analyze the reasons and propose countermeasures. The thesis firstly briefly describes the background, research significance, ideas and methods of the selected topic,on the basis of which, the thesis focuses on analyzing the impact of the changes of the examination subjects of the previous college entrance examination reform on the status of the political science subject,as well as the impact of the changes of the examination subject settings of the new college entrance examination reform on the political science subject.Through student questionnaires and teacher interviews in a high school in Liaoning Province, three dilemmas of teaching non-elective political science subjects under the background of the new college entrance examination reform are analyzed in a more systematic way:from the perspective of teachers and students, high school teachers and students do not pay much attention to the new college entrance examination reform, students are not interested in political science subjects, and teachers’ teaching methods and approaches are not quite adapted to the new situation;from the perspective of schools, political science subjects have not yet received sufficient attention In addition, the social environment of pluralistic values has a certain impact on the teaching of political science, which poses a considerable challenge to the implementation of moral education. In view of these difficulties, the thesis proposes the basic ideas of strengthening the education and teaching of non-elective political science subjects under the new college entrance examination system from the aspects of school’s ideological understanding, students’ active response and environmental atmosphere creation. |
