This thesis attempts to discuss the teaching practice of history discipline in school from the concept of time and space,the hot words of the current history discipline.This thesis is trying to provide methodological inspiration for the development of students'thinking and learning ability.Therefore,I chose the most intuitive and effective method among the teaching methods of time-space concept.That is to say,the historical map is the key point in this thesis.For the content of the concept of time and space training,I combined with the requirements of high school history curriculum standards and the actual situation of students to refine and hierarchical.I think it can be subdivided into four levels:identifying and using the expression of time and space,positioning historical events in time and space,constructing historical time and space connection,and understanding,interpretation and exploration of history from the perspective of "big history".Through the comprehensive,comparative or in-depth analysis of scientific,accurate and intuitive historical maps,it plays an important role in students' understanding and formation of accurate and sharp concept of time and space,staggered concept of time and space,and scientific and open thinking and vision.In terms of the strategy of using historical maps to cultivate the concept of time and space,I discuss the classification,selection and specific teaching strategies of historical maps.In order to cultivate the concept of time and space in a systematic and orderly way,I divide the common historical maps in middle school history teaching into four types:territory situation map,external traffic route and external communication map,war situation map,capital layout and architectural engineering sketch map,and on this basis,I carry out teaching case design and classroom teaching practice.After classroom practice,we found that the use of history map for thematic teaching has a good practical significance.It not only activates history and stimulates students'interest,but also greatly improves students' concept of time and space,and even their overall comprehensive thinking and ability.Of course,in this process,we also found that many problems can not be solved at present.We need to constantly adjust and innovate to explore more practical and effective training strategies.
