The newest curriculum reform demands that we should adopt the three-level curriculum management system including the state government,local government and school.Therefore,history education shouldn't be limited in the old curriculum model,and we should make the use of the existing education resources,and make an exploitation of the diversified curriculum courses for our students,in order to enhance the students' cultural quality and promote their all-around developments.The exploitation of historical school-based curriculum will make that target come true.This article uses Xingcheng City as an example to discuss how to exploit the school-based curriculum.This paper mainly adopts the writing methods including the literature and the case analysis to choose the school-based curriculum of the Second High School of Xingcheng as an example to discuss how to carry out the school-based curriculum development with local history as its theme.The first part describes the reason and status quo of exploiting the school-based curriculum of Xingcheng City,and some basic definitions of the school-based curriculum.The second part: this paper introduces the exploitation principles and conditions of the school-based curriculum.And the principles are considered from the aspect of the course timeliness on the basis of the discussion of the development of the policies at all levels,the long history of Xingcheng,and the features of the local school.The third part conducts a field investigation of the status quo of the exploitation of the school-based curriculum of Xingcheng.On the basis of formulating development procedures and determining development objectives,the school-based curriculum resources of local history are integrated and the school-based teaching materials are compiled.And this paper proposes a tentative plan to implement the school-based curriculum of "Local History of Xingcheng",and explains the evaluation approaches for the teachers and students in the development course of the school-based curriculum.The fourth part mainly focuses on the problems and suggestions on the development of the school-based curriculum of local history,analyzes the problems existing in the school-based curriculum.Targeting at the problems existing in the school-based curriculum,this paper recommends some ways to develop the school-based curriculum in Xingcheng area.It is hoped that it can effectively promote the development,and utilize the school-based curriculum of local history and reflect its value.
