In order to meet the demands of the times, in 2001, the Ministry of education released the elementary education curriculum reform(for trial implementation), and began vigorously promoting curriculum reform, adjustment and reform of educational curricula, structure, content, construction meets the requirements of quality-oriented education of new curriculum.In materials development and management section of the platform for further positive development and rational utilization of curriculum resources development services for students inside and outside school requirements.Utilization of local history curriculum resources in middle school history teaching is the practice of this requirement and to promote the reform of curriculum in history and has a very positive meaning.Not only does it meet the needs of the national basic curriculum reform, its basic educational services, to provide students with opportunities to directly experience around historic, to stimulate students ’ interest in learning;Will also lay the Foundation for students ’ lifelong development, enhance students ’ history quality and loving feelings.Therefore, utilizing local history curriculum resources in middle school history teaching becomes a more important issue.Real historical basis in teaching local history curriculum resources development and utilization in some exploration, but overall exploitation and bad.I follow the characteristics of educational laws and historic subject premise, around the theme of local history curriculum resources research and local history of Yancheng as an example, the concrete development steps, and on ways of routine and non-routine example, accompanied with theoretical description.Partly this research enriches the theory and practice of exploitation and utilization of curriculum resources in local history.This paper from the research literature review of the causes and current utilization of local history are introduced, stated value, meaning, and the starting point of this research;Second part from a convenience point of view in this paper, based on the new curriculum standards and their interpretation of the new curriculum standards, the Yancheng local history curriculum resources in middle school concept was defined;Part of current results, considering the actual situation of history teaching in secondary schools, analysis of the middle school and possibility and necessity of local history curriculum resources in Yancheng, part first introduced the General principles of development and utilization, and a case study in Yancheng history, local history curriculum resources in middle schools in Yancheng, and the description of the theoretical analysis and practice of the operation;Part reflection on some problems existing in the exploitation and utilization of native history, according to the problems impeding development and utilization of local history and put forward some useful suggestions.In order to further promote the effective and rational development and utilization of curriculum resources in local history, the optimization of history classroom teaching.
