Although China's nature education has begun to flourish in the context of the national research travel policy,it is still in its infancy, and research courses related to school curricula have not yet formed a system. On the one hand, insects have their protection requirements as an important part of the world's biodiversity. On the other hand, they are also the most suitable materials for teaching life sciences in primary and secondary schools. It can be seen that the natural education of insects is a combination of nature education and school education an opportunity. Therefore, this research focuses on the natural education of insects and natural materials as the research object. On the one hand,it tests children's cognitive, emotional, and protection intentions to test and evaluate the impact of natural education on children. On the other hand,it evaluates the results of improving insect natural education.Suggestions for the course. In this study,46 children(7-13 years old)from two insect summer camps were surveyed before painting and after participating in the camp.In the analysis of results, triangulation is used, that is,a combination of two or more methods is used to test the same object.Based on the statistical analysis of visual element identification and visual element frequency related to insect species, insect leg structure, insect state, and insect habitat in paintings, and combined with corresponding interviews to obtain insect deficiencies and deviations, and propose related teaching strategies.Through the interviews about the insect concept and the identification of insect pictures, children's cognitive performance in insect concepts was obtained, and teaching suggestions on how to learn insect concepts were put forward based on the different levels of cognitive performance.Significance of the difference in the front-to-back measurement of insect sensation in the second camp child,Significance of the difference in the front-to-back measurement of the insect protection intention of the second camp child, correlation of the sensory and protection intention of the pre-test child in the second camp, and post-test child The correlation between sensory and protection intentions was quantitatively analyzed. It was found that there was a positive correlation between sensory and protection intentions. The summer camp had an effect of improving sensory and protection intentions.Using NVivo to encode children's feelings about different types of insects, reasons for protection intentions, reasons for changes in children's feelings, etc.,the core factors affecting children's feelings are personal emotions, personal experiences, human interests, and indirect information, which affect the protection intention ratio and influence Children also feel that there are two core factors of other values of insects and endangerment. The reasons for the change of feelings include interactive experiences, teacher guidance, peer role, and mass media.Based on the quantitative analysis results of the scale, the coded results reveal more specific influencing factors. The discovery of specific factors indicates how to improve children's feelings about insects and their protection intentions indicate how to teach. The study found the following questions about the concept of insects:(1)Children's concept of "insects" is inaccurate, and the definition and application of concepts are out of touch.Among them, spiders are most easily regarded as insects.(2)Children's expressions of insects are human-oriented,while ecological-based expressions are rarely mentioned.(3)Children think more about protection measures from their own roles. However, little is known about the protection measures that are not directly related to them.Children of local age sometimes have some romantic imaginations. The study revealed the following rules:(1)There is a gender difference in the feeling between girls and boys.Girls are more sensitive to threatening and uncomfortable insects than boys.(2)There is also a gender difference in protection intention between girls and boys, and girls are more supportive of insect protection.(3)Children's feelings about insects are affected by personal emotions, personal experiences, human interests, and indirect information.Among them, children's love for insects depends largely on insect characteristics, and children's hate for insects mainly depends on insect characteristics and damages to humans.Conjecture of interests.(4)There is a significant positive correlation between children's perception of insects and children's intention to protect insects. The irrelevant part is that children have more considerations about other values of insects and their endangerment when considering protection intentions And wavering about contradictions in the interests of humanity. The research has obtained the following evaluation of the effectiveness of the summer camp:(1)Expanding children's understanding of insect species, which is conducive to children's grasp of insect structure.(2)There are limitations to the teaching of insect habits, especially the teaching of insect life cycle.(3)It can significantly increase the children's preference for insects, and the effect of enhancing the willingness to protect is not as good as the favorite, but the willingness to protect can still be slightly improved.(4)Compared with boys, summer camp activities are more conducive to the improvement of girls' preference for insects.(5)Children's interaction experience with insects is the main factor of children's sensory transformation, especially sensory experience. In response to the above research findings, the following suggestions are proposed:(1)Construction of insect education ecology: the combination of emotional experience and cognitive teaching.(2)Pay attention to gender differences in insect teaching: balance the development of students of different genders.(3)Focus on the deficiencies and misunderstandings of previous insect concepts: conduct targeted teaching. The innovation of the thesis is mainly reflected in the following aspects: first, the use of painting research suitable for children's expression.Secondly,a triangulation strategy combining qualitative and quantitative methods is adopted, and multiple perspectives are used for the same research object to enhance the reliability of the results.Thirdly,it reveals the process of how the natural experience education in the summer camp affects children's changes in insect perception. The use of coding analysis clarified the specific reasons for the positive proportionality between feelings and protection intentions,as well as the specific aspects of some non-proportional reasons.
