| Myth reflects people’s original understanding of nature.It is also the manifestation of ancient people’s understanding of nature and conquest of nature,which shows people’s pursuit of thoughts and is of great significance to human beings.Myth is rich in romanticism,and creates the characters endowed with high moral standard,thus transmitting our national spirit through the positive stories.For Chinese teaching,mythological texts are helpful for students to build a sound personality,stimulate their imagination,creativity and reasoning ability,and at the same time,it is also a good way to improve students’ sense of national identity.Unfortunately,the attention paid to the teaching of myth is not enough in junior middle school,and many front-line teachers fail to make use of the educational function of myths in their teaching.Consequently,all mentioned above gives to three questions.First,what attitude should we have towards the mythology text in junior high school Chinese? Second,how to effectively present the educational function of mythological texts in the teaching process? Third,how to design the teaching optimization strategy of mythological text that is different from other texts?On the basis of what has been mentioned above and in reference to the requirements proposed by the Chinese curriculum,this thesis puts students’ quality training in an important position.This thesis chooses the mythical text Kuafu Chased the Sun,which can be found in various text books,including that of People’s Education Edition,Shanghai Education Edition and so on.To further carry out the research,many methods are adopted in writing this thesis,such as literature research,case study and questionnaire survey.Finally,some practical strategies to enhancing the educational function of mythological texts in teaching are brought out.The analysis in this thesis is done from the following four parts:Before the first chapter lies the introduction part.In this part,several topics are explained,including the reason for the research,the purpose,the meaning,the methods and so on.The positive influence of myth on the present world and the problems existing in the teaching of myth text are also elaborated.To begin with,the function and importance of myth in our culture is looked into in the first chapter.To achieve this,the development of students and the effectiveness in teaching myth in middle school must be promoted.For the first aspect,mythological texts are helpful to help students build a sound personality,stimulate their imagination and creativity,and at the same time,students’ ability of reasoning,the sense of belonging to our culture can be improved.For the second aspect,to make teaching more effective,it is essential for the myth texts to go hand in hand with the requirements of the curriculum.Meanwhile,while teaching this kind of text,it is of great importance to follow the rules of psychological states of middle school students.In the second chapter,the current teaching situation in middle schools is investigated attentively.Meanwhile,the causes of problems in mythological teaching are examined in this part.To achieve this goal,different editions of textbooks containing the mythological texts are analyzed,which include the Shanghai Education Edition,Beijing Normal University Edition and so on.The third chapter is considered to be the crucial part in this thesis.The lesson Kuafu Chased the Sun is the used as the role model in junior middle school Chinese mythological texts.Firstly,it interprets the text of Kuafu Chased the Sun.Then it locates the teaching objectives of junior middle school Chinese mythological texts.Finally,based on the above theory,an optimization strategy suitable for junior high school mythology text teaching is put forward,and a detailed teaching plan of Kuafu Chased the Sun is designed to fit the teaching optimization strategy.From what has been discussed above,the importance of myth text teaching in middle school is summarized.This is done with the help of many factors.The achievements of previous researchers,the findings of researches into the curriculum and what has been found in the contemporary Chinese teaching materials all contributed to the findings of this thesis.Meanwhile,this thesis also looked into the problems that exist in Chinese teaching in middle school,and this is done to put forward a targeted and helpful teaching strategy for myth text teaching in junior high school. |
