As development of society and living standards,modern diseases have emerged,with younger tendency.Juniors are in adolescence,growing,energetic,and exuberant.Most of the knowledge about health education is obtained from the Internet,but there is difficult to tell the truth.Based on the characteristics of juniors,the author tries to infiltrate health education into biology teaching,helping students to build a correct health knowledge system,attitudes and behaviors.Based on the biology textbooks of PEP editions and the hot issues of health,this paper focuses on the research of specific strategies to infiltrate health education into biology teaching.In this study,a total of 165 students were selected from four parallel classes in grade 7 of Nan Kai district experimental middle school in Tianjin.Two classes were randomly assigned as experimental and the others as control for two-year teaching practice research.It is started the term with a questionnaire for all freshmen,containing health attitude,knowledge and behavior.Subsequently,health education was carried out in the biology teaching of the experimental classes,while the controls adopted the conventional teaching method.After two years,a questionnaire survey was conducted again.The two data were analyzed,and the results showed that the experimental class had a greater improvement in health attitude,knowledge and behavior compared with its own pre-test.P values were all less than 0.01,that is,the difference was significant.The controls showed that only health knowledge turned significant difference,while the attitude and behavior not.It is powerful evidenced that the strategy of this paper is beneficial to cultivate students' correct knowledge,attitude and behavior.This study shows that it is feasible and effective to infiltrate health education into biology teaching.It can help students develop a healthy lifestyle and enjoy with future study and life.
