At present,school health education in China is mainly carried out in the form of subject penetration.Biology curriculum has become into the most important curriculum in health education because of its unique characteristics.Therefore,it is very useful to investigate the current situation of health education in biology teaching in middle school.By using the method of literature analysis,the relevant materials of health education in biology teaching in junior high school have been consulted.Based on the investigation of teachers and students' understanding of health education,the implementation of health education and the current situation of health knowledge,behavior and attitude of students in Yantai were studied.By using the content analysis method and referring to the requirements of the guiding outline of Health Education in Primary and Middle Schools,the text analysis of the seventh grade biology textbook of Shandong Science and Technology Publishing House has been carried out.Combing out the combination of health education and biology teaching content,this paper provided a reference for teachers to carry out health education in biology teaching.The questionnaire of students showed that the cognitive status of health knowledge among Junior high school students was not optimistic.Their attitude towards health was positive.However,their health behavior problems were serious.Through the analysis of the students' questionnaire data,the preliminary conclusions are obtained.There are no significant differences between boys and girls in terms of health knowledge,health behavior and health attitudes.As for health knowledge,there are significant differences among different grades.However,there are no clear differences in health attitude and health behavior among the three grades.The interview found all the teachers could take the initiative to care about students and find some unhealthy behaviors of students in time.Some teachers could actively infiltrate health education,but the effect was not so good.Some teachers have realized that their quality need to be improved.Teachers agree that health education should be permeated in biology curriculum,but some difficulties should be overcome.Many teachers feel powerless to carry out health education in junior high school biology teaching,because the biology of junior high school has not received enough attention.At the same time,many young teachers are aware of their shortcomings in this area.Of course,health education is not very easy.The scientific teaching process needs to be arranged attentively.Health education should be combined with social hotspots to meet the needs of students.And the community,schools,parents should work together to develop the health of students.
