Prose reading is more and more in the junior high school Chinese "part edition" textbook.The curriculum standard of junior high school Chinese on reading requires students to have rich accumulation and good language sense,pay attention to emotional experience,develop the ability of feeling and understanding,and be able to preliminarily appreciate literary works.Therefore,teachers should not only pay attention to the cultivation of students' reading ability,but also pay attention to improving students' ability of reading On the efficiency of reading.In the traditional teaching of prose reading,students' thinking is relatively simple.They often follow the teacher's explanation or follow the text's interpretation materials to interpret the text.In this way of reading,students' prose reading speed will be slow,and they will not have their own feelings and unique experience.Mind map,as an auxiliary teaching tool,is a divergent thinking expressed by map.The process of divergent thinking is also the process of thinking and producing ideas.It promotes the brain's divergent thinking and increases the interest of learning through the connection and combination of colors,graphics and various symbols.It can present the information generated by students' reading and daily life experience in a visual form.Mind map is an effective way of thinking training.Teachers can help students quickly extract key words and sort out the important content of each essay by explaining prose to students through mind map,so as to improve students' reading efficiency and present students' unique emotional experience at the same time.This paper consists of five parts.The first part describes the background of the topic,the content and significance of the research,literature review,research methods and innovation of the research.In the second part,according to the relevant concepts of mind map,combined with the requirements of junior high school Chinese curriculum standards on reading,this paper expounds the value and significance of mind map in junior high school Chinese prose reading.The third part investigates the application of mind map in junior high school prose reading teaching,and then puts forward the ways to improve the application of mind map in junior high school prose reading teaching.The fourth part introduces the application steps and drawing methods of mind map in prose reading teaching,and carries out specific practice on the application of mind map in the first unit of the seventh grade of "ministry edition".The fifth partis about the application of mind map in prose reading teaching.Through the exploration of the teaching practice of mind map in prose reading in junior high school,the author thinks that mind map can improve the efficiency of students' learning prose,improve their reading perception ability,promote the enhancement of students' divergent thinking,and stimulate their reading autonomy and innovation.
