In recent years,"core literacy" has becoming an important topic in the field of education research.The core literacy is the self-learning ability that students should have to adapt to the development of modern society.The traditional teaching methods can't improving the needs of students core literacy,which requires the reform of the traditional classroom.As a new teaching method,inquiry-based teaching is of great significance for students to acquire knowledge and cultivate their ability,especially for developing their spirit of exploration and innovation.By using the methods of literature analysis,experiment contrast and structure interview,the paper studies,the inquiry teaching mode of geography class in junior middle school under the guidance of core literacy.The specific contents of the study include:(1)The theoretical analysis of core accomplishment and inquiry teaching in geography.This paper defines and explains the core concepts and connotations of geography core accomplishment and inquiry teaching,analyzes the pedagogic and psychological theoretical basis of inquiry teaching,reveals the relationship between the cultivation of geography core accomplishment and inquiry teaching,and discusses the way to integrate geography core accomplishment into inquiry teaching.(2)The construction of junior middle school geography inquiry teaching model under the guidance of core literacy.Guided by the core quality of the subject,the core elements of the geography subject are integrated into the process of inquiry teaching,such as inquiry activities,problem setting and practical activities,the basic principles are to adhere to the principles of content adaptability,teacher dominance,student subjectivity,inquiry and scientific evaluation,constructing the junior middle school geography classroom inquiry teaching mode under the guidance of core literacy,which includes setting up inquiry activities,putting forward questions,expressing,communicating,summarizing and summarizing.(3)The teaching practice of geography inquiry in junior middle school under the guidance of core accomplishment.Taking class 1 and class 2 of Xiangtan Chang Jun experimental school as cases,this paper conducts as a comparative experiment between the core quality-oriented inquiry teaching and the traditional teaching mode.It is found that the students of inquiry teaching oriented by core accomplishment have higher learning initiative and enthusiasm,stronger comprehensive thinking ability and practice ability in geography,but their academic performance is polarized.The traditional teaching results of students are more stable,but students are difficult to break the shackles of thinking,there are certain limitations.On this basis,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the geography teaching of junior middle school which is guided by the core accomplishment and puts forward the optimization strategies.This study further expounds the theoretical basis of inquiry-based teaching,strives to find practical methods,applies the theory into practice,provides strategic support for the teaching practice of junior middle school geography teachers,and provides reference forcultivating students' thinking ability and inquiry ability.
