With the gradual deepening of basic education curriculum reform,life-based teaching has gradually been recognized by the education community.The new curriculum reform calls for classroom teaching to return to life.Different schools have conducted practical exploration and theoretical research.Compared with traditional teaching methods,applying life-based teaching to the classroom teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" is conducive to giving full play to students' initiative and more conducive to the internalization of students' life experience.Although there are many researches on life-based teaching at home and abroad,there are very few that take "life-based teaching" in the primary school "Morality and the Rule of Law" as a research topic.This research topic selected in this paper has universal and representative significance.This research starts from the core concept of the subject,combs the previous research results and related literature and summarizes the characteristics of life-oriented teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in elementary schools.This article uses classroom observation method,questionnaire survey method,and interview method to discuss the part of Jinzhou City.The status quo of life-oriented teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in elementary schools is investigated and researched.Based on the analysis and research of the results,it is concluded that the life-oriented teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in elementary schools has the following problems: the concept of life-oriented teaching is deviated,and the teaching of life-oriented The method is outdated and single,the life-oriented teaching content lacks effective integration,and the life-oriented teaching process is alienated from student life.Through the four aspects of school,teacher,student,and family,the cause of the problem is explored and corresponding improvement strategies are proposed.It is hoped that this research can provide ideas and references for the teaching research of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in primary schools,with a view to improving the effectiveness and feasibility of life-oriented teaching of "Morality and the Rule of Law" in primary schools,updating the existing teaching status,and flexibly changing the teaching methods.
