Home-school cooperation in primary school has been a hot topic of research for a long time.As one of the important subjects of the cooperation,parents’ satisfaction with the home-school cooperation will directly affect the enthusiasm of the cooperation between parents and schools.Parent satisfaction is an important index to measure the teaching quality of primary school education.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to investigate cooperation and study the satisfaction of parents in rural primary schools.This study was conducted under the guidance of overlapping domains of influence theory.This study adopts literature questionnaire and interview method.This study takes Luancheng of Shijiazhuang as the research object.This paper investigates parents’ satisfaction with the current situation of home-school cooperation from four dimensions: level,cooperation content,and cooperation method and cooperation effect.This paper discusses the influencing factors of the satisfaction of rural primary school family-school cooperation,analyzes the main problems existing in rural primary school family-school cooperation and puts forward improvement strategies.The study came to the following conclusions:First,parents’ satisfaction with home-school cooperative parents varies from dimension to dimension.Concretely speaking,there is a negative correlation between parent satisfaction and cooperation level.In terms of cooperative content,parents’ satisfaction is low.Parents are mainly concerned with their children’s study.Cooperation mode has the highest overall satisfaction.Both the frequency of informal communication and parent satisfaction are higher than that of formal communication.In the dimension of cooperation effect,the satisfaction of parents is the lowest.Then,Parental attributes affect the satisfaction of parents in home-school cooperation to different degrees.Parents of different genders,parents of different numbers of children,parents of different identities,parents of different family structures,parents of different monthly incomes,do not show significant differences in terms of cooperation level,cooperation content,cooperation method,cooperation effect and overall satisfaction.Different grades of children have significant effect on the level of cooperation.The effect of different occupations on cooperation is significant.There is a negative correlation between parents’ educational background and satisfaction with home-school cooperation.The main problems highlighted in the cooperation between rural primary schools and schools are as follows: The concept of home-school cooperation is wrong and the practice of cooperation lags behind.The level of home-school cooperation is low.Home-school cooperation is simple.Home-school cooperation mode is single.The effect of home-school cooperation is poor.There are several ways to improve the satisfaction of parents in rural primary schools: The government should increase investment in education and improved laws and regulations on home-school cooperation.School should enhance the home-school cooperation consciousness and improves the cooperation system.Teachers should improve their quality and play a leading role.Parents should strengthen their learning and enhance the ability of home-school cooperation.
