With the emphasis on sports and the development of China's sports industry,various sports training industries develop in a fast way.Under this circumstance,swimming training especially among primary and secondary school students also has a great development.Moreover,many primary and secondary schools in China take swimming courses as compulsory courses.Beijing,as the national teaching demonstration center,is the first one to promote swimming courses.However,looking at the current situation of swimming teaching in compulsory education in Beijing,there are not only the following problems:1.The teaching content of Physical education and health curriculum standards(referred to curriculum standards)lacks integrity and cohesion.2.There are various problems existing in the content of swimming teaching materials at the compulsory education stage in Beijing,such as repetition and disconnection of the content.3.Many problems exist in designing teaching objectives,teaching content and teaching evaluation at the compulsory education stage in Beijing.4.Problems are also reflected by the current situation of teachers and students.From the perspective of teachers,professional swimming teachers and advanced teaching methods are badly needed.From the perspective of students,there is a decrease in students' learning enthusiasm due to the pressure of entering a higher school and the repetition of teaching contents.This paper is based on the logic analysis of the data from questionnaires and interviews which are conducted among experts,first-line swimming teachers and students.Besides,referring to relevant literatures,some conclusions can be listed as follows:1.The integration of teaching objectives,teaching content and teaching comments should be based on the overall framework of curriculum standard.2.The reference of swimming textbooks should be purposeful and practical.Different contents of swimming textbooks should be adopted according to students of different levels.3.The design of swimming teaching objectives,contents and evaluation in compulsory education stage of Beijing should fully consider the needs of students of various levels.4.From the perspective of teachers,the school should expand the recruitment of swimming teachers,increase the professional swimming teachers' staffing position and improve the quality of swimming teaching.From the perspective of students,they should abide by the arrangement of swimming teachers and actively participate in swimming exercises to improve their swimming ability and form the habits of physical exercise.Based on this research,we may not only construct integrated swimming teaching content which conforms to the current situation of compulsory education in Beijing,but also provides feasible suggestions for the swimming teaching in other provinces.This research also provides reference for the overall construction of the integrated swimming teaching contents towards students of various ages.
