The cultivation of primary school students' imagination is based on the inherent age characteristics of primary school students and their future development goals,and gradually formed important teaching directions and goals.With the construction of an innovative society in my country,imaginative thinking has become one of the key abilities for elementary school students to develop into talents in the future.In the teaching of elementary school Chinese courses,the content of poetry uses typical aesthetic connotations,condensed language expression,and rich emotional connotations and literary images,which provide an important basis and path for the development of pupils' imagination.Therefore,combining the specific characteristics of elementary school poetry teaching content,analyzing and exploring the teaching practice path of elementary school students' imagination and thinking,not only meets our country's requirements for talent training,but also meets the actual needs of primary school students' growth and development.This research starts with the realistic needs of primary school Chinese teaching,and the promotion value of poetry content to students' imagination and teaching difficulties,and explores the realistic background of this research,and from the two aspects of imagination thinking and the cultivation of students' imagination in poetry teaching,To sort out the research situation at home and abroad.On this basis,the research focuses on the perspective of imaginative thinking,expounding the connotation and characteristics of elementary school students' imaginative thinking;from the perspective of poetry teaching,it analyzes the concept and function of elementary school poetry teaching,and its role in promoting the development of elementary school students' imagination thinking.feasibility.Subsequently,based on the methods of classroom observation and teacher interviews,this research explored the current situation of teachers in cultivating students' imagination and thinking in primary school poetry teaching,analyzed the existing problems,and put forward targeted teaching suggestions based on the problems,combined with specific primary school poetry The teaching content analyzes the strategies and methods that teachers use to cultivate students' imagination and thinking development in poetry teaching.Studies have shown that elementary school poetry plays an irreplaceable role in the development of students' imagination,but in the course of practice,the formation and development of students' imagination is affected by teachers' teaching strategies and methods,and students' specific participation.According to research,the current elementary school poetry has the problems of single teaching method,insufficient analysis of teaching content and insufficient teaching system in terms of promoting the development of students' imagination and thinking.The key to the formation of these problems is that teachers have insufficient awareness and experience in using the content of poems to promote the development of students' imagination and thinking.In response to these problems,in the teaching of elementary school poetry,teachers first need to deeply analyze the aesthetic connotation of poetry works to lay a solid foundation for the development of teaching;secondly,they need to continuously improve the teaching methods and guide them with the rich literary image and artistic conception in the poetry works.Students can fully experience the development of their imagination based on their personal life experiences,and in the process of teaching implementation,they will continuously strengthen and guide students' imagination and thinking through rich teaching methods,resources and elements.
