| In recent years,with the constant deepening of basic education reform,Chinese compulsory education has achieved unprecedented development,and spirits and body of middle school students have also been fully developed.However,with the changes of the times and the social pattern,educational problems have also been pointed out frequently.Especially during middle school,the critical period of student growth,the problems are more prominent.Thus new higher standard is required for educators,especially for head teachers,they as leaders of a class,play an important role in the healthy development of students.Therefore,research on head teacher is never out of date.In the past,there were a lot of studies on the managerial identity of head teachers while few on their leadership;many studies on the leadership of teachers and principals,and few researches on the leadership of the head teachers,especially the junior high school head teachers.By learning from domestic and foreign scholars on teacher leadership and domestic scholars on the leadership of head teachers,this paper,by conducting research on the leadership of junior high school head teachers and exploring effective methods to improve the leadership of junior high school head teachers,aims to promote a more healthy and comprehensive development of junior high school students and the professional development of head teachers.Theoretical research and survey research was applied in this paper.By taking 255 junior high school head teachers from 5 public middle schools in Zhangzhou City,Fujian Province as the research objects,adopting questionnaires and interviews,which were combined with quantitative and qualitative analysis,this paper devoted itself to know the current situation,the existing problems and causes in the leadership of junior high school head teachers,and finally came up with corresponding strategies for improving the leadership of junior high school head teachers. |
