Objective: The physical fitness and health of adolescents has always been an important part of school physical education.In recent years,the state has continuously emphasized the importance of adolescents' health in school physical education,and must fully guarantee the time for youth sports activities.However,at the present stage,middle school students are under heavy learning pressure,physical education time is often compressed and occupied,adolescents' insufficient time for physical activity,and a single form of physical education in middle schools have caused the incidence of many problems,including obesity and decreased athletic ability,to continue to increase.Relevant studies at home and abroad show that: HIIT can significantly improve the physical condition of young people,and it is more efficient than continuous aerobic exercise.Therefore,this research takes junior high school students as the subjects to explore the organizational form of HIIT method in middle school students' physical education practice,and the influence of HIIT method on middle school students' physical function and physical fitness.Research the design and effect of HIIT in middle school physical education,aiming to explore a more efficient physical education teaching method in middle school physical education.Methods: This article divides the two classes in the second grade into an experimental group and a control group.There were 47 people in the control group who were taught in accordance with normal physical education;49 people in the experimental group used the form of "HIIT checklist" and "HIIT task card" for 8 weeks of HIIT intervention,and the weekly training was carried out according to the school physical education curriculum schedule.Before the experiment,measure the body shape and function of the two groups of students,as well as various indicators and achievements of physical fitness.After the experiment,the indicators of the two groups of students were measured again,and the changes of the indicators were compared and analyzed,Combining the experimental observations and the feedback results of the interviews with students and teachers after the experiment,the integrated analysis is carried out to discuss the application effect of HIIT method in middle school physical education.Result: 1.After 8 weeks of HIIT experimental intervention,the growth rate of various physical and functional indicators of students in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group.2.In terms of physical fitness,the test scores of the experimental group students' strength,speed,endurance and flexibility are more obvious than those of the control group.3.Observation and interview results show that students have a strong interest in teaching in the form of "HIIT checklist" and show a willingness to exercise actively;training in the form of "HIIT task card" stimulates students' enthusiasm for physical exercise.Conclusion:1.The HIIT method promotes various physical qualities such as the body shape and function(vital capacity),strength,speed,endurance and flexibility of the subjects.Compared with conventional physical education,it can have a greater effect on improving the physical fitness of students.2.The form of "HIIT checklist" and "HIIT task card" allows students to focus more on their physical exercises,which can improve the efficiency of students' physical exercises.Its sports characteristics are in line with the sports characteristics of the middle school stage and make up for the current lack of time for middle school students to exercise.3.The HIIT method enhances students' interest in sports and enhances students' willingness to participate in physical exercise.In the 8-week experiment,there were no injuries or diseases affecting the health of the students,which proved that the HIIT method is safe and feasible in middle school students' physical education.
