Nowadays,with the rapid development of social economy,the transformation of knowledge economy and the construction of harmonious society put forward higher requirements for vocational education and talent training.Therefore,it is far from enough for vocational schools to cultivate students' professional skills,and students' comprehensive quality should be cultivated.Chinese is a very important cultural basic course required by secondary vocational colleges.Chinese teachers in secondary vocational schools are of great significance to improve students' knowledge of various subjects,to form a comprehensive innovation ability of vocational information technology,to adapt to the change of the industry,and to the continuing learning and development in the later period.The author is lucky to be a Chinese teacher in secondary vocational school,trying to explore the ways and methods to improve the quality of Chinese teaching in secondary vocational school,so as to promote the development of secondary vocational education.Through the investigation and research on the present situation of Chinese teaching in Jingbian County Vocational Education Center in Northern Shaanxi,this paper mainly analyzes the causes of the problems in Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools from the aspects of family,school,teachers and students by means of questionnaire,interview,field observation,case law and literature research,and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies for these problems.The survey found that: because students do not attach importance to Chinese concept,students lack learning motivation,lack of interest in learning,in addition,the foundation of secondary vocational students is weak,learning habits are poor,lack of scientific learning methods;teachers,learning and training opportunities are few,resulting in backward teaching ideas,single old teaching content,rarely reflect professional characteristics;and school,society,family and other aspects of the impact.Starting with the above survey results and combining with the characteristics of secondary vocational schools,this paper puts forward the following improvement strategies: in school,we should rationally formulate the teaching objectives of secondary vocational schools,combine Chinese courses with practical activities courses,and perfect the teacher evaluation system;in teachers,we should change teaching concepts,optimize teaching methods,carefully select teaching contents and skillfully use teaching art;in the use of teaching materials,reorganize the contents of teaching materials and expand the contents of extended teaching materials.Applying the above strategies to the Chinese teaching in secondary vocational schools not only greatly stimulates the students' interest in learning,but also has certain reference value for improving the teaching quality of secondary vocational Chinese.
