Moral behavior training is one of the important ways to promote children's socialization, especially for special children,to develop good moral behavior habits can promote the development of moral quality and improve the ability to adapt to society. On the contrary, bad habits may hinder their communication with others, which is not conducive to their better integration into society.Mental retardation children's cognitive development speed is slow, lack of initiative behavior, can't control their own behavior well in life, showing a strong dependence on others, which also leads to the problem of insufficient behavior and poor social adaptability. Therefore,in order to ensure the mental and physical health of students with mental retardation, improve their social adaptability and promote all-round development,we should pay attention to the cultivation of moral behavior of students with mental retardation. This study takes three students from X Special School in Tianjin as the object of case study, using the method of single subject experiment to explore the effectiveness of observation learning in the moral behavior training of middle school students with mental retardation.First of all, through the investigation and analysis, three subjects were selected from the school to carry out the intervention experiment of observation learning.Secondly, collect and sort out the experimental data, analyze the occurrence frequency of target moral behavior in the baseline period, intervention expectation period and tracking period, compare the differences between the three stages, and test the effectiveness of observation learning on the cultivation of moral behavior of students with moderate mental retardation. Finally, the experimental results are verified by interviews with teachers, parents and students themselves.Through the analysis of the experimental results and qualitative research, the following conclusions are drawn: Observation Learning is effective in the moral behavior training of moderate mental retardation students in schools for the mentally retarded;the way of intervention affects the effectiveness of observation learning in the moral behavior training;appropriate reinforcement can ensure the smooth progress of the intervention experiment. The cognitive development characteristics of students with mental retardation lead to different intervention effects on moral behavior. The degree of difficulty and situation of behavior also affect the frequency of behavior.Teachers' ideology also hinders the formation of students' moral behavior to a certain extent. In view of the above problems, this paper puts forward three suggestions:according to the needs and interests of students, stimulate the motivation of moral behavior training;correctly implement reinforcement, avoid the negative impact of reinforcement on the experiment;strengthen the cooperation between home and school, unify the influence of education.
