Perceived self-efficacy in managing angry/irritation is the specific expression of self-efficacy of managing angry/irritation,which refers to the degree of confidence that they can manage their angry/irritation.Previous studies have shown that the perceived self-efficacy in managing negative affect has a significant impact on mental health, which can indirectly affect or directly predict mental health. This study focused on perceived self-efficacy in managing angry/irritation,and explored the current situation and relationship with mental health.Based on this,it explored the effectiveness of self-made group counseling project in improving perceived self-efficacy in managing angry/irritation.It not only provides quantitative evidence for the relationship between perceived self-efficacy in managing angry/irritation and mental health, but also provides a feasible and effective practice model for improving the mental health level of junior high school students in the form of group counseling to improve perceived self-efficacy in managing angry/irritation.In this study, all the students of a middle school in Nanning City were studied to investigate the current situation of their management anger efficacy and mental health, analyze their differences in demographic variables, and explore the relationship between the perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/ irritation and mental health indicators of junior high school students. On this basis, the intervention study is expected to improve the management of anger effectiveness through the perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/ irritation group counseling, and thus improve the level of mental health. The study used 2(intervention/control group)× 3(pre-test/posttest/tracking)mixed experimental design,16 people in the experimental group,16 people in the control group, using RESE(revised edition)and MSSMHS-60 as the evaluation tool for the pre-test,post-test and tracking stages. The study found that after the group counseling of perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/irritation,the level of perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/irritation of junior high school students in the experimental group improved significantly, and the improvement of mental health level was obvious, and the effect of intervention on perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/irritation and mental health was sustainable until 2weeks after the intervention.Through the research, the following conclusions are drawn:1.The level of perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/ irritation and mental health of junior high school students varied significantly in sex and class type.2.Junior high school students to perceive self-efficacy in managing anger/irritation effectiveness and mental health showed a significant positive correlation.3.Perceived self-efficacy in managing anger/ irritation group counseling improves mental health by improving perceived self-efficacy in managing angry/irritation.
