According to the reform plan of new college entrance examination,the senior high students have to think of their future subjects in Senior 1,which is really difficult for the senior freshmen,especially for those who do not know their interests enough,those who are lack of specific information about their future careers and those who are lack of a clear understanding of the social environment.Therefore,the development of career education in senior high school is imperative.Based on the career education theories,some educational management theories and some related researches studied by scholars,the writer is conducting a survey and investigating the current situation of the Senior high school's career education in S City,analyzing its reasons,and putting forward some useful strategies,hoping to provide effective reference for the development of career education and,improve the situation and meet the schools' and the students' needs in S City.The paper consists of five parts,including the preface,the basic theories,the current situation investigation,the problems of the status quo,and the Propulsion Strategies of the senior high career education.The first chapter is the preface,in which includes the selected topic reasons,the research purpose and significance,the research methods and the domestic and foreign literature summary.And the literature summary is made up of the definition of the core concepts and the related studies of the senior high career education.This study believes that "career education in senior high school" refers to a series of systematic education that students need to receive in senior high school,including self-awareness,academic planning,career experience,decision-making for further education(Development),career management and so on.Combined with the definition of ordinary high school career education,this study mainly focuses on the cognition,goals,contents,forms,evaluation,management and guarantee of ordinary high school career education.The second chapter is about the theories of career education,including the basic theories of career development and the theories of education management.The basic theories of career development mainly analyzes the Super's career development stage theory,the cognitive information processing theory and the career adaptability theory.The theories of education management focuses on the application of two-factor theory and the system theory in educational management.The third chapter is the investigation of the current situation of the career education of the General Senior High School in the city of Shaoguan under the background of the new National College Entrance Examination.The questionnaire survey in this chapter is mainly set up from the cognition,contents and forms,management and implementation guarantee of career education,questionnaire survey was conducted among teachers and students who are from three schools: the Shaoguan provincial key high school(B Middle School),the district key high school(Q middle school)and the district ordinary high school(Y Middle School),the analysis results of the present situation of career education are as follows: students are willing to learn about the career education,the cognitive status of career education is good,but the goals are not clear,the contents are out of place,the forms are single,and the effects are not obvious.The fourth Chapter is the analysis of the current situation of career education in senior high schools in S City,which is mainly based on the results which is analyzed in the third chapter.The reasons are summarized as follows: lack of correct cognitive awareness of career education,lack of effective career education organization system and lack of effective career education guarantee mechanism for students.The fifth chapter is about some effective strategies of general high school career education.This is the key chapter of the research.The author suggests updating the existing concept of career education to achieve the overall fairness of education;Setting suitable career education goals to achieve students' autonomy;Planning the contents and forms of effective career education to realize the scientificity of teaching;Constructing an efficient career education management system to change the management concepts. |
