At present,there are a lot of experts and scholars studying poetical novels,but mainly the research results of personal works are large.Due to the short time of general use of unified edition textbooks,fewer scholars have studied poetical novels in unified edition Chinese textbooks for junior high schools.There are many poetical novels in the unified edition of junior high school Chinese textbooks,and it has become a choice to examine poetical novels in the college entrance examination reading,not only to examine the traditional plot novels.Therefore,how to better convey the text characteristics and reading value of poetic novels to students,so that students can get beautiful experience and improve their ability of appreciation of poetic novels is a pity in the current teaching.Through a questionnaire survey of front-line teachers and a study of front-line teaching examples and teaching journals,this paper tries to grasp the teaching status quo of poetic novels as much as possible,and puts forward measures to improve the existing problems,so as to provide some references for the study of poetic novels,front-line teachers and researchers.This paper mainly analyzes and studies from four parts.The first part makes a statistical analysis of the list of poetic novels in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese textbooks,and makes an analysis of the selection of the articles,and determines the teaching emphasis by combining the curriculum standards and the characteristics of poetic novels.The second part is the grasp of the current situation of poetic novel teaching,which is divided into the effect of poetic novel in teaching and the existing problems,and analyzes the reasons for the problems.The third part is the improvement measures for the teaching of reading poetic novels,which is to analyze the unique narrative structure of poetic novels,appreciate the poetic language,feel the overall artistic conception of poetic novels,taste the rich emotion and experience the poetic spirit.The fourth part is based on the previous improvement measures,choose the poetic novel "Folk Opera" design teaching.
