Chinese courses put forward higher requirements for junior high school students' reading ability of literary works.Modern and contemporary novels,as fictional narrative literary works,have unique era backgrounds and expressions,and their teaching plays a significant role in cultivating students' Chinese literacy.How to carry out the effective teaching of modern and contemporary novels in the unified compilation of junior middle school Chinese textbooks is worthy of in-depth discussion by the majority of Chinese education researchers.The main body of this study is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.First of all,the origin of the research is clarified from the aspects of curriculum standard requirements,teaching status,and teaching trends.Secondly,it explains the significance of the research from two aspects of theory and practice,and defines the core concepts of this research.Finally,through the analysis of relevant literature,the existing research results related to the teaching strategies of modern and contemporary novels in junior middle school Chinese textbooks are clarified,so as to provide theoretical basis and argumentation ideas for this research.The second part is the selection of modern and contemporary novels in the unified compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks.This part analyzes the selection of modern and contemporary novels for teaching reading,self-reading and extracurricular reading in the form of tables and other forms,combined with the compilation concept of unified compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks.To clarify the characteristics of selection and arrangement of modern and contemporary novels is the basis for teachers to use certain strategies to teach modern and contemporary novels.The third part is the teaching basis and teaching value of modern and contemporary novels in the unified compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks.Effective teaching of modern and contemporary novels based on curriculum standards and textbook arrangement,students' learning theories,modern and contemporary novel features and related teaching theories can improve students' Chinese literacy in terms of language,thinking,aesthetics,and culture.The fourth part is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of modern and contemporary novel teaching in junior high school.This research adopts the survey methods such as questionnaires and interviews to understand the basic situation of the teaching of modern and contemporary novels in the junior middle school.Through the comprehensive analysis of the survey results,this paper explores the problems existing in the teaching of modern and contemporary novels,and provides a realistic basis for the proposal of teaching strategies.The fifth part is the teaching path of modern and contemporary novels in junior high school,which is the core part of this research.Under the guidance of curriculum standards,this part intends to find effective teaching strategies for compiling modern and contemporary novels in junior middle school Chinese textbooks by combining theoretical materials and teaching status,and using relevant teaching cases.On the basis of changing teachers' teaching concepts,innovating traditional modern and contemporary novel teaching methods and deeply digging relevant course resources,it is possible to form a modern and contemporary novel teaching path from macro to specific.
