The column of "learning extension" is one of the auxiliary columns of high school history textbooks published by the People’s Education Press.It is an effective way to expand students’ extra-curricular knowledge,improve students’ learning ability and cultivate students’ core quality of history.However,teachers and students have some problems in the application of this column,which leads to the application of the column of "learning extension" into a dilemma.Therefore,how to get rid of the dilemma,what strategies and practices to adopt,so that the column can be better used in high school history teaching,to cultivate students’ literacy and ability,is the core issue of this paper.Apart from the introduction,this paper is divided into five parts:The first part is about the types and presentation of "learning extension".It mainly summarizes and classifies the types and presentation methods of the column of "learning extension".The main types of the column of "learning extension" include opinion evaluation,investigation and collection,experience and revelation,discussion and debate,historical data analysis,and impressions and opinions.Its presentation modes include pure text materials,pictures and tables.The second part is the function of "learning extension" and its position in high school history education.It mainly analyzes the function of the column of "learning extension" and its position in teaching materials and teaching.The function of the column of "learning extension" is to promote teachers to carry out teaching activities,improve students’ learning ability and link the examination questions,which plays an important role in teaching materials and teaching.The third part is the overall analysis of the application status(i.e.existing problems)of the column of "learning extension",and explore the reasons for its application difficulties.It is difficult for teachers to position the value of this column,carry out the activities of this column,lack of targeted guidance for questions and answers,students do not pay attention to the value of "learning extension",lack of interest stimulation,different treatment under the difference of individual students,and a variety of teaching materials weaken the function and status of this column,leading to the application of this column by teachers and students into a dilemma.The fourth part is the countermeasures for the application difficulties of the column of "learning extension",and gives relevant suggestions for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.In view of the application difficulties of teachers,it is suggested that teachers should correctly position the value of this column in teaching,change the teaching mode and method,constantly improve professional ability and advocate targeted Q&A guidance.In view of the application dilemma of students,first of all,students are expected to take the initiative to set the correct learning objectives in learning.Secondly,it is suggested that teachers stimulate students’ interest in learning and reduce the different treatment of this column caused by students’ individual differences by adjusting the activity mode and the form of questions in this column.Finally,students are encouraged to strengthen the cooperation between the column and teaching materials,so that the column of "learning extension" can exert its maximum effect.The fifth part is the application teaching design of the column of "learning extension".Combined with the proposed coping strategies for the application difficulties of this column,the teaching design is carried out with the example of The Formation of the Centralization System in the Qin Dynasty. |
