The design of "main question" was first proposed by Yu Yingchao,which is not only a concept of reading teaching,but also an effective reading teaching strategy."Main question" is the core and crucial problem that the teacher puts forward in teaching according to the teaching goal and the student’s ability.It can guide students to explore the meaning of the text repeatedly and deeply on the basis of the text,to achieve a profound understanding of the content and form of the text,and to promote the occurrence of students’ substantive learning behavior.It can also trigger students’ interest in learning,stimulate students’ desire to explore,promote students’ initiative in thinking,improve students’ ability to solve problems,and promote the development of students’ thinking ability.The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)clearly indicates that Chinese education should cultivate students’ thinking ability and thinking quality,and improve students’ ability to analyze and solve problems.Reading teaching is the top priority of Chinese teaching in senior high school.The design of "main question" conforms to the requirements of the new curriculum reform and the new curriculum standards,as well as the development requirements of the times,and has important application value in senior high school reading teaching.In the practical teaching,the application effect of "main question" design is not obvious,and there are still some problems to be solved in the application process.On the basis of combing relevant literature,this dissertation tries to define core concepts such as "main question",expounds the theoretical basis of main question design,and discusses the necessity and feasibility of using main question design in high school Chinese teaching.Through teacher interview and classroom observation,this dissertation sorts out the problems existing in the application of "main question" design in high school reading teaching: unclear understanding of the concept of "main question" design,improper setting of the difficulty of "main question" design,confused structure of "main question" design,single method of "main question".Based on the analysis of the existing problems,this dissertation puts forward theimprovement strategies of the design of "main question" : first,the design of "main question" should be based on the unified compilation of textbooks themselves;second,the design of "main question" should point to the teaching objectives and the difficulties of teaching;third,the design of "main question" should be based on the text content;fourthly,the design of "main question" should pay attention to students’ learning situation;finally,combining with the characteristics and requirements of unified textbook compilation,the researcher tries to design and present a case of reading teaching design that can reflect the concept of "main question".It is expected that this dissertation can not only improve researchers’ rational understanding of the design of "main question",but also provide some references for front-line teachers to improve reading teaching by using the design of "main question" more effectively.
