A Research On The Development Of Local Art Curriculum Resources In Kindergartens Of Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture

Art curriculum resources are a main factor of art curriculum reform. As the reform being promoted, its importance has been highlighted. As for preschool art education, art curriculum resources' diversity and property are decisive factors for achieving curriculum objectives. Thus the development of it becomes the objective requirement of the reform in kindergarten.Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture is a place mainly inhabited by minorities, which blesses it with rich and unique local art resources. To develop the resources reasonably is the demand of localization in education which is a international trend and of educational development in minority areas. However, these resources haven't been efficiently developed because of various kinds of influencing factors. Therefore, it's practically significant to research on the efficient utilization of local art curriculum resources.This study uses a combined research methods of literature survey,interview,observation and action research. This thesis consists of four parts. The first part is introduction which is mainly about the research review and the related conceptions. The second part is about the summary of art resources in Xiangxi. This part focuses on the contents and features of it. The third part is the exploration of how to develop the Xiangxi local art resources, which is discussed from four angels. They are objective,principle,content and method. The paper concludes with some discussion about the parents,children and teachers' curriculum participation, and the utilization of the community resources.
