With the advancement of high school curriculum reform in China,the new mathematics curriculum standard pays more and more attention to the all-round development of students,that is in the "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)",students are encouraged to engage in diversified learning activities such as reading self-study,and pointed out Teachers should guide students to self-study reading.Especially in recent years,in the college entrance examinations of various provinces across the country,the topics of mathematics test questions are getting longer and longer,and the amount of information contained is also increasing.For example,the infiltration of mathematics and cultural topics has paid more and more attention.Examination of students' mathematics reading ability,mathematics reading ability not only affects the study of mathematics,but also plays a very important role in the entrance examination.However,through teaching practice,it is found that mathematics teachers in Tibetan areas do not pay enough attention to mathematics reading of high school students,which makes it difficult for high school students who had difficulty in understanding to read mathematics.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the mathematics reading status of high school students in Tibetan areas and it is particularly important to improve the mathematics reading level of high school students in Tibetan areas.In order to improve the mathematics reading level of high school students in Tibetan areas,the main questions discussed in this article are:(1)What is the current state of mathematics reading of high school students in Tibetan areas?(2)What are the factors that affect the mathematics reading of high school students in Tibetan areas?(3)What are the strategies to improve the mathematics reading level of high school students in Tibetan areas?Focusing on the above issues,this study selected four classes from each of the three grades of a high school in Zhouqu County,Gannan Prefecture,with a total of five hundred students in twelve classes(including two hundred and twenty-five Han students and two hundred and seventy-five Tibetan students).,Select twelve middle school students and one mathematics teacher as the research object,use literature research method,questionnaire survey method,test paper method and interview method to study the mathematics reading of high school students in Tibetan areas,and then use the data analysis software SPSS23.0 Based on statistical analysis of the collected data,the current status of mathematics reading of high school students in Tibetan areas is as follows:(1)Most high school students in Tibetan areas can recognize the importance of math reading,but the reading method needs to be improved;(2)Currently The reading content of high school students in Tibetan areas mostly focuses on mathematics textbooks and mathematics tutorial books,and there is a lack of extracurricular reading of mathematics;(3)The atmosphere of students' mathematics reading is not strong enough,and it is necessary to create a good mathematics reading environment for students at home and school;(4)High school students in Tibetan areas have many difficulties in mathematics reading,especially in the understanding and transformation of symbolic language in mathematics;(5)Generally speaking,high school students in Tibetan areas have relatively weak mathematics reading ability,especially Tibetan students,and are There are significant differences in grade,ethnicity,and liberal arts.Then,according to the survey results of the current situation,the factors that affect the mathematics reading of high school students in Tibetan areas are analyzed.The main manifestations are:(1)poor initiative,poor motivation and dependence on mathematics reading;(2)the process of mathematics reading There is a lack of effective reading methods and reading skills;(3)Mathematics reading content is single,lack of mathematics extracurricular reading;(4)School and family reading monitoring is not enough;(5)Language conversion is not accurate and mathematics cognitive structure is not perfect.Based on the analysis of the status quo and influencing factors,some strategies to improve the mathematics reading level of high school students in Tibetan areas are proposed:(1)Emphasize mathematics reading and correct mathematics reading attitude;(2)Strengthen mathematics reading training and optimize mathematics reading methods;(3)Improve mathematics reading environment and stimulate mathematics reading enthusiasm;(4)Carry out mathematics extracurricular reading and enrich mathematics reading content;(5)Solve mathematics reading obstacles and ensure the smooth progress of mathematics reading.
