| Under the background of the new curriculum reform,in order to enable students to deeply understand history and cultivate students’ historical thinking and disciplinary ability,the subject of history has proposed five core qualities.As one of the five core qualities,the importance of the concept of time and space is self-evident.The concept of time and space is the basis for understanding history,only when students have a clear understanding of time and space,can they locate different historical figures and historical events in the coordinates of time and space,so as to have an objective understanding of historical figures and historical events.They are connected to form an overall understanding of history.Therefore,in the teaching process,we should pay attention to cultivating students’ concept of time and space.This thesis is based on the 2017 version of the Curriculum Standards,relying on the relevant content of the new textbooks,combined with my own teaching practice experience,to further explore the existing history education teaching results.To this end,a survey was conducted on X Middle School in Yongchuan District,Chongqing City.Through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,it was found that students’ sense of time and space was weak,teachers’ teaching strategies needed to be optimized,and new textbooks were more content,requiring teachers to continue to explore other issues.In response to the above issues,we propose strategies such as conducting special research,drawing historical maps,making mind maps,using historical charts and historical comparisons to strengthen vertical and horizontal connections,creating historical situations through various methods,and integrating the content of teaching materials with historical events and historical themes as clues.Students’ concept of time and space allows them to better understand and evaluate history.Finally,take the fifth lesson of the unified edition textbook "The Change of Political Power and the Harmony of Ethnic Groups in the Three Kingdoms,Two Jins,Southern and Northern Dynasties" as an example for teaching design,applying training strategies to teaching,in order to strengthen students’ awareness of time and space,cultivate students’ historical thinking,and make students Learn to look at and evaluate things with the eyes of connection and development. |
