Curriculum standards are the basis for determining curriculum reform,which covers the education and teaching concepts and development level of the subject.If educators want to gain a deeper understanding of the history education of high schools between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong,they should start with the high school history curriculum standards in both places.Only in this way,it is possible to clarify the basic provisions of history education,but also grasp the curriculum management mode reflected in history education.This paper takes the history curriculum standard of senior high school as the research object,synthetically uses the literature research,the comparative study and the case analysis and so on method.On the basis of introducing the overview of the development of high school history curriculum standards in the two places,a comparative study of the current high school history curriculum standards in the two places is carried out from three aspects of guiding ideology including the curriculum concept and curriculum objectives,curriculum setting for the curriculum structure and curriculum content,and implementation suggestions for teaching and evaluation.In addition,this paper also expounds the similarities and differences of senior high school history curriculum standards between the two places,the teaching cases are further borrowed to demonstrate.The research results show that under the background of the new curriculum reform,the history curriculum standards of the high schools in both places have reflected the development status of the history curriculum in the region,and they are all reflections of the educational concepts and trends of the new era.The two places have similar cultural backgrounds and historical origins,and there are some commons in the curriculum standards.However,due to their unique social environment backgrounds,they differs from each other.Therefore,The two places can learn from each other and actively absorb favorable theoretical and practical experience.Based on the above research results,this paper puts forward some opinions and suggestions to improve the history curriculum of senior high schools in both places: we must attach importance to the status of history subject;Strengthen students' national consciousness and patriotism;promote the rational arrangement of curriculum;increase the operability of implementing the recommendations;and continue to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of education between the two places.
