A Group Work Study On The Adaptation Of Children Of Labor Immigrants To Urban Life

In recent years,in order to fundamentally solve the problem of poverty and ecological problems,Ningxia continues to implement ecological immigration policy in the "13th Five-Year Plan".Labor migration is an important form of ecological immigration in Ningxia.However,when the children of labor immigrants move to the urban community with their parents,they face many problems and challenges when integrating into the new environment due to the changes in environment,culture and living habits.Since the children of labor migrants relocated to Yinchuan City have settled in the local urban household registration,also become the hero of future urban construction,their urbanization will affect the progress and development of the city,so attention should be paid to the community integration of the children of labor migrants,pay attention to the difficulties of their adaptation after relocation.Strengthening the research on the community integration of the children of labor immigrants can not only meet the growth stage needs of the children of labor immigrants,but also promote the children of labor immigrants to better integrate into the community life,and can provide reference for the development of activities in other immigrant children gathering places,which has far-reaching significance for the promotion of urbanization development.From the perspective of social work,this paper is based on the public welfare venture capital project of "Children's Growing Up Plan" in District J of Yinchuan City,with the children of immigrants as the main service object.First of all,using literature study,questionnaire and semi-structured interview method analyses the group characteristics of labor migrant children to understand the community in the process of its adaptation to urban life in psychological adaptation,social intercourse,family support,community ascription problems in four aspects,and then evaluate labor migrant children adapt to the needs of the city.Secondly,under the guidance of social work theory,the author grasps the conflicts faced by the children of labor migrants in this stage,and attaches importance to setting an example in the interaction to trigger the service objects to adjust their behavior.Then,the group work method was used to carry out targeted group activities mainly from the four themes of improving self-identity,broadening social communication,obtaining family support and enhancing community belonging.Finally,the results of the group were evaluated by comparing the service objects' filling in the scale before and after the activity was carried out,and the deficiencies in social workers' own and group activities were also reflected,so as to provide experience and reference for future activities.The research shows that the practice method of group work can help the children of labor immigrants to form an objective evaluation of themselves,obtain the internal support of the family,establish the external support system of social communication,and promote the positive growth of the children of labor immigrants.On the other hand,we can strengthen the sense of urban ownership of the children of labor migrants,strengthen their sense of belonging to the city,and promote them to better adapt to urban life.In order to promote more immigrant groups in the new environment,put forward the contain of resettlement community to introduce social work professional strength,improve the community support system,improve the quality of social work services in three Suggestions to meet the needs of immigrant groups within the community,reflect the human-based management of community,help immigrants and the integration of city,so as to promote the urban construction.
