Research On Group Work Practice Of Urban Adaptation Of Migrant Workers’ Accompanying Children

With the speeding up of urbanization in our country,more and more farmers choose to move their families to work and live in the cities.The scale of this group of children with family migration is also expanding.The unfamiliar urban environment poses a series of challenges to it.There are problems in their family life,study life,social life,and even psychological construction that need to adapt to the urban environment again,and the intervention of social work specialty is urgently needed.This study takes the children of migrant workers in J Community of C City as the object of service.According to social support theory,social learning theory and dominance perspective theory,the group work method is used to make professional intervention on the urban adaptation of group members.The study shows that in the face of the new urban society and the resulting lifestyle changes caused by the children of migrant workers in the city,there are more common problems of adaptation in terms of psychology,learning and communication life,which are mainly manifested as the inadaptability to the changes in the way of parent-child interaction,the incompatibility of the urban learning environment and learning style,and the incompatibility of social interaction with the peer group,the main reason is that the parent-child relationship is not adjusted properly in the process of rural and urban transformation,and the transformation of the learning mode of the migrant children is delayed.and a lack of homogeneous life experience and social skills.Social workers provide professional services to group members through a series of group activities,such as "understanding and tolerance,parent-child heart connection","Mastering new methods,learning is easy","Learning through wind and rain,Making Progress Together","Trust training Camp,Friends all the way",and have achieved positive results.The research proves that group work is an effective method to cultivate the urban adaptability of children of migrant children;Strengthening parent-child communication and promoting mutual understanding are necessary measures for families of migrant workers to adjust parent-child relationship.Mastering new learning methods and learning new social skills is an important way to improve the adaptability of learning and social life.
