Research On The Practice Of Migrant Children's Urban Adaptation To Social Work

Due to the boom of the reform and opening-up in the 1990 s,the urbanization process in China has developed rapidly.In this process,migrant children who migrate with their families have become a new group.Under the impetus of urbanization progress,the scale of this group is increasing day by day,and the urban adaptation of migrant children has become the focus of social attention.Migrant children leave their hometown to live in the city,no doubt from the psychological and then to the external environment of the adaptation process.Social work adheres to the professional value concept of helping others to help themselves,and combines with its professional theories and practical methods to help migrant children better integrate into urban life and improve their urban adaptability.The urban adaptation of migrant children is not only related to the harmony and stability of the whole society,but also provides a new practical field for social work exploration.Through the collection of research data in the early stage and based on the practical cases of migrant children in a primary school in Chongqing,this paper explores and analyzes the current development trend and their own needs of migrant children in the school.From the expansion of internal environment to external environment,we can understand the current situation of urban adaptation of migrant children from multiple perspectives.Combined with the micro system,intermediate system,outer system and macro system in the ecological system theory,this paper analyzes the reasons for the plight of migrant children in urban adaptation.According to the advantages of the migrant children in this school,as well as the characteristics of large number and concentrated distribution,the research methods are mainly literature,interview,questionnaire and observation.Professional methods and group work in social work should be used for practical intervention,and services should be adapted in the micro system to enhance the empower oriented intervention in the self-adjustment of migrant children,so as to strengthen the self-cognition of migrant children.The family adaptation service of the intermediate system involves the migrant children and improves the parent-child relationship with the support.The outer system involves the migrant children to establish peer group connections and leads them to participate in urban activities with a support orientation.In the macro system,group work practices link the intermediate system to get involved in the adaptation services of migrant children in an advocation-oriented way to enhance the migrant children's sense of community participation.From the perspective of ecosystem,this paper analyzes the effect of social work on the urban adaptation of migrant children,and puts forward some suggestions: at the micro system level,attention should be paid to the cultivation of migrant children's urban adaptation ability.At the intermediate system level,we should develop home-school association and realize "one school and one social worker".At the outer system level,we should pay attention to the campus conditions of migrant children and guide their peers to accept them.At the macro system level,promote the improvement and development of the social environment.Helping migrant children adapt to urban life as soon as possible and establish a positive life philosophy.
