"Curriculum Map" was conceived in the "Standardization Movement of Basic Education" of the United States in the 1980 s.It is an instrumental concept of curriculum development and management.At that time,in order to solve the problem of students' low academic performance,the United States carried out a " Standard-based reform " aiming at improving students' learning quality.In this movement,curriculum map came into being.Universities in the United States,Canada,the England,Australia and Chinese Taiwan,other places have witnessed a boom in the development and application of curriculum maps.As a school curriculum map,curriculum map reflects the overall curriculum structure of the school,and is also a process of dynamic change of the school curriculum system.It clearly describes the curriculum structure,course requirements and content sequence,and has many values.First of all,it can guide students to choose courses,that is,to help students choose courses that take into account both interests and professional requirements from multiple courses,so as to obtain a complete learning experience.Secondly,it helps teachers to judge the position and value of their curriculum in the whole curriculum system,and then better integrate into the whole curriculum system,giving play to the overall educational function of the curriculum system.Finally,it helps curriculum managers to examine curriculum more comprehensively and systematically,so as to improve the quality and efficiency of curriculum management.Based on the theoretical combing and applied research methods,this thesis systematically explores the development and application process of curriculum maps in the field of higher education.At the level of theoretical research,the concept of course map is summarized.In order to further understand the role of course maps in college courses,the relationship between it and other concepts is analyzed,the structure,type and function of course maps are analyzed,and the development process is described.And technology and other content.At the application research level,analyze the universities in the United States,Canada and Chinese Taiwan,apply the curriculum map to guide the implementation process of students' career development,summarize the experience of using the preliminary preparation and implementation process of the curriculum map,and fully understand the application of the curriculum map in colleges and universities.Process and effectiveness.Based on the experience of applying curriculum maps to colleges and universities in different countries and regions,this paper analyzes the concepts and methods of applying curriculum maps in colleges and universities in China,and finds that there are still some problems in the initial stage of the development and application of curriculum maps in China,and according to different The situation design course map looks forward to the future development prospects of the application curriculum maps of colleges and universities in China.
