With Professor Wen Rumin as its chief editor,“Chinese textbooks for obligatory education wrote by Ministry of Education”(Hereinafter referred to as “MOE-compiled Chinese textbooks”)has been used in a large area of junior high school on March in 2019.Following the principle of scientific writing,all the text in the “MOE-compiled Chinese textbooks” are overall planned.And the older version of Chinese textbooks has been displaced by the new redaction for junior high school by its special advantage of exhibiting era characteristics and understanding learning condition.As part of compiling textbooks,the contents and numbers of foreign poetry have changed at the same time.Only five poems(Champer Flower,If by Life You Were Deceived,The Road Not Taken,Unify and Petrel)have been retained.In recent years,the intercommunication in culture between China and other countries has become increasingly frequent,and people's requirement for multi-culture is also growing day by day.As the pith of foreign literary works,the educational value of foreign poetry receives more and more attention.Actually,the teaching of foreign poetry hasn't formed fixed teaching design model,and instructional strategies are even more lacking.The phenomenon of ignoring foreign poetry teaching,happens from time to time.This thesis focuses on the study of compiling and teaching design about foreign poetry on “MOE-compiled Chinese textbooks”,and mainly adopts the methods of document research,case analysis,comparative analysis,statistic analysis and interview.This dissertation is composed of three portions: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction first comments the causes of the subject,research situation,research methods and concept definition.The text is made up of three chapters: the first chapter perform research on the situation of compiling about foreign poetry on “MOE-compiled Chinese textbooks”,then analyse the rationality of its arranging system and the intrinsic value of selection.In the second chapter,four foreign poems(Champer Flower,If by Life You Were Deceived,The Road Not Taken,Unify)will be used as examples to emphatically discusses the teaching design about foreign poetry.In the last chapter,this paper introduce three kinds of teaching strategies in foreign poetry teaching by using Gorky's petrel.And this chapter combine with teaching design in the chapter two,the author has designed the teaching case of petrel.The conclusion is to sum up the research results of compiling and teaching design about foreign poetry on “MOE-compiled Chinese textbooks”.The author hopes that this paper can provides some useful suggestions for today's classroom teaching of foreign poetry.
