Modern and contemporary prose is the main type and subject matter in the junior middle school Chinese textbooks,and it occupies a certain proportion.It plays an important role in cultivating middle school students' Chinese literacy.The selection and layout of modern and contemporary prose in the the People's Education Press Edition of junior high school Chinese textbooks are relatively stable in use.Compared with the PEP Edition,the selection and layout of modern and contemporary prose in the junior high school language textbooks of the Ministry Edition have been greatly improved.This shows that the Ministry Edition attaches great importance to modern and contemporary prose in the selection and compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks.This article focuses on the selection and compilation of modern and contemporary essays in the junior high school Chinese textbooks published the People's Education Press Edition andthe Ministry Edition of the junior high school Chinese textbooks,from three aspects: the selection of two sets of junior high school Chinese textbooks,the selection of modern and contemporary essays,and the arrangement of modern and contemporary essays,conducted a comparative study of the two sets of textbooks,found the differences between them,and made some suggestions on the selection and compilation of modern and contemporary prose in the junior high school Chinese textbooks.This article is composed of an introduction,four chapters of the main body and an epilogue.In the introduction,the concept of the research object is defined,and the research significance,research status,research scope and methods are explained.The first chapter compares and analyzes the selections of junior high school languages between the PEP Edition and the Ministry Edition.It is found that the Ministry Edition has made major adjustments to the PEP Edition.Among them,there are fewer adjustments to ancient works and more adjustments to modern and contemporary works.The second chapter compares the modern and contemporary essays of the two editions of junior middle school Chinese textbooks in terms of the number of selected essays,titles,and categories.It is found that from the perspective of the number of selected essays of modern and contemporary essays,the two editions of Chinese textbooks have little difference;in terms of the content of the essays,the Ministry Edition has made major adjustments to the PEP Edition.On the basis of retaining the classics,the selection of essays with poor contemporary characteristics has been deleted,and some famous essays have been added;from modern and contemporary prose in terms of the categories,the distribution of the categories of the Ministry Edition is relatively even,and the study of multiple types of prose is also emphasized.The third chapter compares the layout of modern and contemporary prose in junior high school Chinese textbooks published by the People's Education Press Edition and the Ministry Edition.It is found that from the perspective of unit layout,the two versions of Chinese textbooks have the same composition method,but the unit structure is different.On the basis of the humanities theme of the People's Education Press Edition,language literacy is added,and the two-line organization unit is adopted;from the perspective of the guidance arrangement,the two editions of Chinese textbooks have differences in the text guidance system and the chart guidance system;from the practice layout,The two editions of textbooks have little difference in the amount of questions,but there are big differences in question types and section settings.The fourth chapter provides some reasonable suggestions for the selection of modern and contemporary prose in the junior middle school Chinese textbooks based on the results of the comparative analysis.The conclusion part summarizes the thesis and analyzes its shortcomings.
