The "close reading method" is an important principle of literary criticism put forward by the British and American new critics.It has developed into a common method of text interpretation and formed a relatively complete theoretical system.Chinese ancient scholars have long put forward the method of text close reading,but they have not yet formed a mature interpretation theory.In recent years,a large number of university scholars,such as Sun Shaozhen,Qian Liqun,Wang Xianqi,etc.,have used their own rich literary theories to interpret the classic chapters in the Chinese Textbooks of middle schools.The first-line Chinese teachers,such as Chen riliang and Yu Yi,have used the text close reading method to analyze the actual teaching cases in the classroom teaching.Therefore,the text close reading method has set off a wave in the field of education.The joint efforts of these scholars and famous teachers have formed a set of operational and feasible interpretation methods for us.This paper takes modern new poetry as the research object,combs the theory of close reading at home and abroad,integrates the development and content of Chinese core literacy,and tries to explore the rationality of applying the method of close reading to new poetry.New poetry has always been the key and difficult point in teaching.This paper believes that using the method of text close reading to explore the literary value,aesthetic value and emotional value contained in new poetry will be conducive to the cultivation of students' Chinese core literacy.However,through the questionnaire,we can find that in the actual teaching process,because some teachers are easy to be influenced by the test oriented education college entrance examination baton,coupled with teachers' own lack of attention to the text,the lack of corresponding theory and method guidance and other reasons,there are often utilitarian,superficial,random interpretation and other phenomena in the process of interpretation.This paper applies theoretical knowledge to practice,points out the principles and methods that should be adhered to when reading new poems carefully,in order to provide a new starting point for teachers to interpret new poems.The educational circles advocate the implementation of quality education,but in the front-line teaching,many teachers still hold a serious idea of exam oriented education.In order to train students to be a comprehensive development person,in the Chinese discipline,we should take the text reading method as an important way to improve students' Chinese core literacy.
