History is not only what happened in the past,but also people's memory and inter pretation of the past.With the further development of history research,history theory has a great impact on the teaching of history in middle school.With the help of the his tory theory,not only can students' awareness of history theory be cultivated,but also can help students better understand history and history subjects.Since the "memory turn" of western historiography,Chinese historiography has also followed the trend and carried out the research of historical memory.The research of historical memory provides a new perspective and theory for historiography research,expands the new historical materials of historiography research,and has certain reference significance for the teaching of middle school history education.Based on the basic theory of historical memory research,this paper applies the theories,methods,perspectives and historical materials of historical memory research to the history classroom of senior high school.Starting from the four themes of "May 4th historical memory","Xinhai revolutionary historical memory","World War II historical memory" and "Jewish Holocaust historical memory",it analyzes the empirical and historical experience of historical memory research on students With the improvement of the ability of history explanation,the feeling of home and country,and the enhan cement of international understanding,this paper designs the inquiry teaching of four subjects from the perspective of historical memory,trying to help students master the basic theory of historical memory research,recognize the original historical knowledge from a new perspective,and reveal the hidden factors and significance behind the memory of historical events.Because the current research of historical memory is still in the development stage and is not mature,teachers should clarify the relationship between historical memory and historical facts,prevent falling into the trap of historical nihilism and historical revisionism,and pay attention to the ethical issues of memory construction.
