With the development of society,art also brings forth the new on the basis of inheritance.Contemporary art marks the latest trend of art development and reflects the style of the times.The vigorous development of Chinese and western contemporary art has produced many excellent works,which have injected fresh blood into school art education.At the same time,school art education is also faced with the problem of maintaining the national local culture and accepting the world's diversity.From the perspective of local culture,Chinese contemporary art is based on the local culture,with bold breakthrough and innovation in form,In line with the international avant-garde art.This study is based on the local culture of contemporary Chinese art,in the high school art curriculum development and practice,explore its content selection,curriculum development and specific practice methods,from art appreciation to art performance,to build a curriculum that can cultivate students' critical thinking,enhance the sense of social responsibility of art creation,and improve students' sense of identity to the local culture.This thesis is divided into the following five parts: the first part describes the research background,significance and research status of the thesis,summarizes the innovation and research methods of this study.The second part defines the core words "Chinese contemporary art" and "local culture",analyzes the application of local culture in several types of Chinese contemporary art works,and expounds their enlightenment for teaching,so as to lay the foundation for the selection of curriculum content.The third part discusses the applicability of Chinese contemporary art in high school art curriculum from the perspective of local culture from two aspects of learning theoretical basis and educational value.The fourth part,through the analysis of the questionnaire survey and interviews of students and teachers,forms the idea of constructing the curriculum.The fifth part shows the cases of teaching implementation and some students' works,as well as the summary and reflection of teaching practice.
