The "I Love Chinese" series of textbooks(referred to as "I Love Chinese")and the "Chinese Dingguagua" series(referred to as "Chinese Dingguagua")are nationalized textbooks for Thai elementary school students and Japanese elementary school students respectively.We should not only pay attention to the localization of the teaching materials,but also pay attention to the universality of the teaching materials.The arrangement of vocabulary in teaching materials can reflect the arrangement of teaching content.This paper takes the vocabulary in two sets of teaching materials as the research object and makes a comparative analysis.This paper makes a quantitative comparative analysis of the two sets of textbooks in terms of vocabulary,recurrence rate and new words after class,and tests whether they conform to the basic attributes of Chinese textbooks.The cultural characteristics of different countries are easier to be reflected in the vocabulary,and the part of cultural vocabulary focuses on the problems of nationalization.Based on the statistical data and previous studies,this paper puts forward the following suggestions on the vocabulary compilation of the two sets of textbooks: in terms of the recurrence rate,the vocabulary repetition rate of "Chinese Dingguagua" is low,so it can be increased by increasing the content of each lesson and setting more activities and exercises;In terms of new words after class,there are a large number of superclass words in both sets of textbooks.The syllabus should be taken as a reference to reduce the less commonly used words and increase the commonly used ones.In terms of cultural vocabulary,the two sets of textbooks can appropriately add cultural vocabulary reflecting the characteristics of The Times,rather than limited to historical cultural vocabulary.It is hoped that the suggestions put forward in this paper can provide reference for the compilation of country-specific textbooks,and the statistical results can provide data supplement for the compilation of vocabulary in country-specific textbooks,so as to promote the compilation of country-specific textbooks.
