With the continuous development of "Artificial intelligence + Education",people’s cognitive methods and lifestyles have gradually changed.In the field of basic education,many scholars have focused their attention on robot education,which has led to a rapid development of robot education.Robot education has become one of the most important ways to cultivate primary school students’ innovative and practical abilities,and its educational value has been recognized by the society.How to better guide primary school students to apply knowledge to solve practical problems in the robot teaching process,how to cultivate students’ comprehensive abilities such as creativity,teamwork,and critical thinking,which has become the urgent problems need to be solved.This thesis attempts to integrate the CDIO concept into robot education,and develops a CDIO-based teaching design and teaching practice for primary school robots.To this end,this thesis is carried out from the following aspects.The main content of the research includes the induction of the combination of CDIO education mode and robot education,and the construction of the CDIO-based primary school robot teaching mode,design of teaching cases and teaching practice.Firstly,the literature research method is adopted to sort out and analyze the current research status of CDIO teaching mode and robot education,and summarize the combination of CDIO concept,syllabus and twelve standards with the requirements of robot education and training.Secondly,according to the cognitive characteristics of primary school students,a primary school robot teaching model based on CDIO has been constructed in terms of the teaching principles and element design,and by centering around the following 5 phases such as conceive(C),design(D),implement(I),operate(O),and evaluation and reflection,which is based on the constructivist learning theory,learning by doing theory and project-based learning theory.Then,the Sixth Grade students are selected as the object of study from the experimental primary school affiliated to Chong qing high-tech zone s primary school to conduct a teaching practice for half-semester and analyze and improve the teaching problems,which is based on the Zhong ming Smart Storm series robots platform to design the teaching cases such as "intelligent traffic signal controller","intelligent windmill" and "intelligent transport vehicle" according to the teaching objects and teaching content.Finally,the teaching effect will be estimated by observing the students’ engagement,performance and self-evaluation and analyzing the questionnaire on experimental class and contrast class.The research results show that the CDIO-based primary school robot teaching model can effectively mobilize students’ initiative on learning,and it also plays a significant role on cultivating students’ ability about creation,team-work,critical thinking and trouble-shooting and communication.Meanwhile,students’ manual skills is improved during the teaching process.The CDIO-based primary school robot teaching model has reference significance for the design and application of robot teaching,and is helpful to the systematic development of robot education.
