Robot education is of great significance for students ' intelligence development,practical ability,innovative thinking training and cultivating talents needed in the future information society.At present,robot education is entering basic education,some primary and secondary schools carry out robot education,the establishment of a compulsory or elective course and robot interest groups.This study aims to solve these problems: lack of support and effective teaching mode of educational ideas in robot education and teaching.This study takes the concept of STEM education as the guide,the LEGO robot as the platform,and the inquiry-based learning as the carrier to carry out the practice of robot teaching.The main work done by the institute: This paper makes a deep and comprehensive combing,thinking and researching on the present situation and problems of the research progress of robot education and teaching in primary and secondary schools at home and abroad.Summarizing the core concepts in this study and the theories related to the research.On the basis of current situation research and theoretical study,designing a robot teaching model for STEM.In practical teaching,applying the robot teaching mode based on STEM.The teaching design,teaching implementation and evaluation of the teaching effect of three kinds of typical contents of robot teaching are carried out.The results of the study show that: Using the robot teaching mode for stem to carrying on the machine instruction effect is great.Students ' attitude to learning robots has improved significantly,creativity has been improved,hands-on skills and problemsolving skills have been improved,and robot teaching under this model is helpful to the study of other subjects' knowledge.The robot teaching mode for stem has the value of application,reference and popularization to robot teaching.
