In recent years,programming education has been widely concerned.In order to meet the demand for talent training in the era of artificial intelligence,more and more attention is paid to the programming education of teenagers at home and abroad.The state has formulated relevant policies to promote the development of programming education in primary and secondary schools,advocated programming education in the basic education stage,and promoted the construction of programming courses in primary and secondary schools.The implementation of programming education largely depends on the teaching of programming courses.It is of practical significance to study the current situation of programming teaching in primary school to promote the development of programming education for primary school students.The author will take the programming teaching of primary school students in a district of Chengdu as an example to carry out investigation and research on the current situation of primary school programming teaching.Through student questionnaire surveys,the current situation and difference analysis of students' programming learning are carried out from the aspects of learning motivation,learning content and methods,programming learning habits,programming level,and programming value.Through teacher interviews,we can understand the current situation of programming teaching from the aspects of teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods and evaluation.According to the survey results of student questionnaire and teacher interview,find out the problems that need to be solved in primary school programming teaching,and analyze the problems.In view of the problems existing in the primary school programming teaching,combined with the education and teaching theory,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of programming teaching.The first is to strengthen policy support and build programming curriculum standards and content systems.The second is to pay attention to gender differences and fully popularize programming education.The third is to innovate programming teaching methods and improve programming teaching evaluation.The fourth is to strengthen the construction of programming teachers and improve their professionalism.The fifth is to build programming teaching resources and build an intelligent programming teaching platform.The sixth is to promote programming culture and enhance society's understanding and support for programming education.This article is based on the investigation and study of the programming status of primary schools in a certain district of Chengdu,explores the existing problems in programming teaching status,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions in combination with teaching practice and education theory.I hope to provide some theoretical references for the research of primary school programming education and provide some suggestions for the programming teaching practice of first-line programming teachers.
