Chemistry is a very attractive subject.Junior high school chemistry is the enlightenment stage for students to learn chemistry,while high school chemistry is the basic education stage of chemical science.Chemistry teaching at the junior high school and senior high school levels together constitute the whole of middle school chemistry teaching.Therefore,the two have always been inseparable subjects in middle school chemistry teaching.Due to the continuous advancement of the curriculum reform process and the update and change of teaching materials,the two are in the teaching connection.The contradictions in this regard have gradually been highlighted.Through six years of teaching experience,it was found that most of the students have great difficulties in the learning of chemistry after entering the high school,although some of them studied wellin chemistry in junior high school.Because the first grade of senior high school is in the critical transition period of junior and high school concerning chemistry learning,the difficulty of chemistry learning will directly affect the choice of the division of liberal arts and science in senior high school.It will ultimately determine the quality of students' college entrance examination results and choice of majors.Some students say that the difficulty of learning chemistry has even surpassed the two subjects of mathematics and physics.Of course,there are many reasons for these phenomena.Students' lack of psychological preparation for the difficulty of high school chemistry,and high school teachers' lack of understanding of the learning level of junior high school knowledge will directly affect students' interest and perseverance in learning chemistry.Therefore,it is necessary to link up chemistry teaching in the first stage of high school.The disconnection between junior and senior high school chemistry teaching is quite serious,so this paper studies the cohesion of chemistry in junior and senior high schools from the following aspects.The first part mainly elaborates the necessity of effective connection of high school chemistry.Through the research on the cohesion of junior and high school chemistry teaching,students' fear of chemistry learning can be reduced and teachers can pay more attention to the cohesion teaching,so as to make students love learning chemistry more.In the second part,according to the psychological changes of students' learning and reading related theoretical books,this part discusses on the basis of teaching theory,and defines concepts such as teaching cohesion.The third part is to investigate the chemistry learning of high school students after one semester through the form of questionnaires.The data statistics and analysis of the survey results discloses the needs of students from many aspects.The teaching methods are adjusted in time to help students adapt to the pace of high school chemistry learning as soon as possible.The fourth part is a detailed comparison and analysis of the differences in chemistry between junior and senior high schools from five aspects:curriculum standards,syllabus requirements,textbook content,teaching methods,and student psychology.In the fifth part,four teaching cases were compiled based on the school's curriculum reform model and daily teaching,namely "Classification of Substances","Redox Reaction","Atomic Structure" and "Application of Substance Quantity in the Calculation of Chemical Equations".A cohesive analysis of the differences in knowledge points between junior and senior high schools is made.The teaching measures are summarized,which can be used in future teaching practice.The sixth part mainly summarizes the problems existing in chemistry teaching in junior and high schools.The cohesion from the perspective of teachers and students is analyzed and it is applied to daily teaching as far as possible.Finally,it summarizes the shortcomings of this research,and analyzes the problems exposed in the teaching practice of the school's curriculum reform.Further improvements can be made in the future teaching.Combined with the current situation of curriculum reform,this study aims to promote the chemistry teaching in senior high school,so that senior high school students can increase their interest in chemistry learning,find suitable learning methods as soon as possible,and have the determination and confidence to overcome the difficulties encountered in learning.At the same time,the bridging teaching of high school teachers can be carried out more smoothly,which can have a certain guiding role for their future teaching work.Of course,the cohesive teaching of chemistry is not completely carried out in the first stage of high school,and some knowledge points in the second stage of high school also need to be connected.Through continuous research on the differences of junior and high school chemistry and the comprehensive application of teaching modes,it can make our teaching work more easy in the future,and also provide some reference value for the teaching work of frontline teachers.
