This study used questionnaire based on maturity scales as major method, which collected 318 effective questionnaires, junior school students as subjects, future time perspective and impulsivity as independent variables, procrastination as the dependent variable and time management disposition as the mediating variable. It primarily used SPSS 23.0 and MPLUS 7.0 to do modeling and correlation analysis of the data, discussing the influence of future time perspective and impulsivity on procrastination, and the role of time management disposition which perform between future time perspective and procrastination as well as between and procrastination respectively. The results show that:(1)Future time perspective is significantly positively related to time management disposition, and significantly negatively related to procrastination;(2)Impulsivity is significantly negatively related to time management disposition, and significantly positively related to procrastination;(3)Time management disposition plays a mediating role in future time perspective and procrastination, impulsivity and procrastination respectively. The results reflect that the level of future time perspective suggests the procrastination, while the level of impulsivity predicts the procrastination reversely. So junior school students should reduce impulsivity and promote future time perspective according to the circumstances. This study examines the impact of future time perspective and impulsivity on predicting procrastination so as to guide the school to take effectively measurements in order to reduce the procrastination rate of junior school students further.
