Education is a major plan for the country and the party.The development of education is related to the improvement of personal quality,the well-being of the people,and the key to the realization of sustainable development of the country.As an important indicator of the sustainable development of compulsory education,the quality of teaching plays an important role in the future.At present,the quality of education is a key indicator in the field of education.The current education system mainly adopts academic performance to measure students' academic performance and education quality.Students' achievement is not only affected by personal factors,but also restricted and affected by family factors and school factors.With the in-depth study of students' academic achievement in the field of education,it is found that family factors also play a crucial role in academic performance.Therefore,focusing on the family education level,studying the influence mechanism of family factors on students' academic performance has theoretical value and practical significance.This study explores the influence of family factors on middle school students' mathematics academic performance.From the two dimensions of family capital and parental involvement in education,it studies the influence of family capital and parental involvement in education on middle school students' mathematics academic performance and its influencing mechanism,this paper mainly studies the following questions:(1)whether family capital has a significant positive impact on middle school students' mathematics academic performance;(2)Whether parents' involvement in education has a significant impact on middle school students' mathematics academic performance;(3)whether family capital has a direct and indirect impact on middle school students' mathematics academic performance.Based on the data of CFPS 2018,this study first describes the basic situation of family capital,parents' education involvement and middle school students' mathematics academic achievement,makes a brief descriptive statistics on the relevant core variables,and makes a correlation analysis of the three by using the column correlation analysis to test whether there is any correlation between the three.Secondly,by using the ordered multi classification logistic regression model,this paper analyzes whether family capital and parental involvement in education have a significant impact on middle school students' mathematics academic performance,and whether family capital has a significant impact on the intermediary variable parental involvement in education.Finally,parents' involvement in education is introduced as a mediating variable,and the mediating effect is used to test its utility.According to the research results,it was found that:(1)Family capital has a significant positive impact on middle school students' mathematics academic performance;(2)parental involvement in education has a significant impact on middle school students' mathematics academic performance;(3)parental involvement in education plays a mediating role in family capital on middle school students' mathematics academic performance.Based on the conclusions of this article,the corresponding suggestions are as follows:(1)Parents should have the correct concept of family education,pay attention to the sense of responsibility of family education,participate more actively in children's education,strengthen the degree of care for children,and strengthen communication with children;(2)The school should strengthen the communication with parents,help parents improve their understanding of family education,and complement the advantages of family education and school education,improve the teaching environment and quality,at the same time,they should improve the teaching environment and teaching quality,increase the investment of teaching resources,so as to improve students' academic performance;(3)The government should play a macro-control role,formulate relevant policies and regulations,help narrow the gap between the quality of education,and promote the development of education equity.
