| With the rapid development of science and technology and the profound transformation of social economy in China,a new round of basic education reform is imperative.The school serves as the place for teachers to teach and students to learn,and the classroom serves as the main position.The reform of education can’t be separated from the reform of classroom teaching methods.As educators,we should change our thoughts and explore in our actions,and seek for a new type of classroom teaching reform in accordance with the talent cultivation and the college entrance examination.The 2017th edition of the Biology Curriculum Standards issued by the Ministry of Education clearly points out that education should vigorously advocate students to carry out inquiry-based learning,which puts forward higher requirements for students’learning ability.Students who only study hard are bound to be eliminated in the tide of social development,but students with learning ability and innovative thinking are the talents needed for the development of our country.In order to keep up with the pace of curriculum reform and development,Gu’an No.1 Middle School began to explore more effective teaching methods from 2016,based on its own characteristics,and finally created the"1+1"class teaching mode centered on student’s independent exploration.In this mode,"1+1"refers to the new lesson of the previous section and the exercise lesson of the next section,that is,two classes are connected in a row.The new class consists of five parts:leading-in learning,self-directed learning,mutual learning,demonstration learning and intensive learning.The exercise class consists of four parts:time-limited training,mutual learning,intensive learning and perceptive learning.In addition,each link has a strict time control.This teaching model breaks the traditional teaching model and returns the classroom to the students,in order to create an efficient and wonderful classroom.At the same time,this model aims to cultivate students’learning and thinking abilities,such as independent learning,mutual exploration,expression and communication.It also poses a higher challenge to teachers’teaching ability.As a result,this new teaching model had been fully implemented in Gu’an No.1 Middle School.Then,what were the problems in the implementation of this model and whether it can be used by teachers for a long time,so as to become the hallmark of our school?The author had carried on the detailed research to this.This thesis mainly included six parts.The first part was an overview,including the development of domestic and foreign educational ideas and teaching models,the problems existing in the teaching reform of primary and secondary schools,the background and process of the establishment of our teaching model,the purpose,significance and methods of the research.The second part introduced the process of"1+1"class mode and the related theoretical basis.The third part was the analysis of the results of the questionnaire,which consisted of two aspects:the teacher version and the student version.The author took Gu’an No.1 Middle School in Langfang City,Hebei Province as an example,and part of biological teachers and students were involed by means of questionnaire survey.The author found and analyzed the problems existing in the early stage of the implementation of"1+1"class and the students’learning status of biology through the questionnaire survey.The fourth part included three aspects:the problems in the application of"1+1"class in our school,the adjustment and the advantages of this model.The fifth part was the teaching practice of"1+1"class mode,including the instruction of practice design,operation process and the analysis of research.The author took the students of Class(3)and Class(4)of Grade One as the teaching practice object,using the principle of comparison,(3)class using the traditional teaching mode,(4)class using the new teaching mode,and conducted a one-semester research.The sixth part was the conclusion and suggestions,including the achievements of"1+1"class model in high school biology class,other problems in the application of our school and several suggestions.The research results of questionnaire survey,teaching practice and interview communication in this thesis were as follows:1.The results of teachers’questionnaire survey showed that the implementation of"1+1"class in this school is not good,and some teachers gave up the use of this model for many reasons,such as students’weak foundation and insufficient time for intensive learning.2.The results of students’questionnaire survey showed that the vast majority of students still prefer traditional teaching methods and seldom have the experience of mutual assistance,communication,presentation and speech in class.3.In this paper,the teaching experiment was carried out with molecular and cell as the required teaching content of high school biology,and the results of mid-term and final exams of two classes are analyzed and compared with SPSS software.It was found that the results of final exams of two classes were significantly different.The results showed that compared with traditional teaching,the new model of"1+1"class can significantly improve the students’biological scores.4.Through interviewed with students at different levels in Class(4),it was found that students were able to accept the new model and their abilities of autonomy,cooperation and expression had been significantly improved.Through the research on the application of"1+1"class mode in biology class of Gu’an No.1 Middle School,the author believes that"1+1"class mode is a new class mode that meets the requirements of talent cultivation.This mode can improve students’biological performance,enhance their learning abilities such as self-study,inquiry and expression,and even have a positive impact on the development of students’personality.The author suggests that teachers should accept this model from a long-term perspective and insist on using this model in class.Moreover,teachers can flexibly adjust and apply this model according to the contents of the textbook and the characteristics of students,so that the“1+1”class mode can really take root in Gu’an No.1 Middle School. |
