With the in-depth advancement of basic education reform,educators pay more and more attention to the development of students' core competencies.Nowadays,the core competencies of biology have become an important part of the competencies of Chinese citizens.The implementation of core competencies is closely related to the development of curriculum resources.The "Compulsory Education Biology Curriculum(2011Edition)" pointed out that teachers should actively participate in the development and utilization of curriculum resources to guide students to innovate and practice.This research aims to explore the general methods of junior high school biology curriculum resource development through the community activity platform,to achieve the purpose of improving students' comprehensive ability and core competencies,and to provide experience for other teachers to try to carry out biological club activities.First,through the method of literature review,the author analyzed the current domestic and foreign research status of curriculum resources,and defined its concepts,classifications,functions,characteristics,and principles of utilization.Then with the help of questionnaire,the identification and utilization of the curriculum resources in Taiyuan was analyzed by the biology teachers;It also investigated the development of biology clubs in various schools and the development and utilization of biology curriculum resources in club activities.Then combined with the practical research on the combination of curriculum resources and club activities carried out by Taiyuan No.18 Middle School,the author analyzed the advantages of the biological club curriculum at this stage:(1)Club activities can be carried out in accordance with local characteristics and local conditions.(2)The design of activities focusing on innovation can play a role in assisting classroom teaching.(3)The knowledge level and practical ability of students was clearly improved,and their core competencies were developed to a certain extent.The author also found out the difficulties and problems in the development of biology curriculum resources in club activities at this stage:(1)Teachers have weak awareness and lack of ability to develop and utilize curriculum resources.(2)In many schools,the experimental teaching is not fully developed,the classroom teaching form is single,and the establishment of clubs is not sufficient.(3)There are also many problems with the establishment of the school of the biological clubs,such as the lack of planning of curriculum layout,the lack of scientific activity designs,especially the insufficient development of curriculum resources,which leads to unclear curriculum goals and failure to fully implement core competencies.Based on the above problems,taking the PEP version of the seventh grade textbook of junior high school biology as an example,the author tried to conduct an elaborate study of the development strategy of junior high school biology curriculum resources in club activities under the guidance of core competencies,and concluded the development process of curriculum resources in club activities.The process includes the overview of biology textbooks,selection of activity topics;study of curriculum standards,decision of teaching goals;combinations of competencies requirements to create ideas for development;discussion of demonstrating feasibility;implementation of activities and records;evaluation of teachers' and students' feedback,optimizing and improving the design.Then,the selected activity topics in the first book of the seventh grade are combined with diversified curriculum resources,and divided into three categories: experimental club activities,survey(science popularization)club activities and experience(production)club activities.Combined with specific practical cases,the development strategies of curriculum resources in the three types of club activities are summarized as follows:(1)The development of curriculum resources for experimental club activities should focus on the expansion,extension,and integrated utilization of teaching materials and experimental resources.More attention should be paid to the innovative design of experimental equipment and exploration ideas,as well as the selection and preparation of appropriate time and place to prepare experimental materials,make full use of local resources,and finally achieve the teaching goals.(2)The development of survey(science popularization)club activity curriculum resources is generally based on the activity goals.It helps students identify easily accessible survey objects,and then guide students to design practical survey plans based on the theme of the activity,and finally based on the survey results.Students can propose measures to solve the problems.However,for the development of such activities,it is necessary to fully integrate local characteristics and carry out activities according to local conditions to fully reflect the educational value of curriculum resources in the investigation process.For activities that are partial to popular science,teachers can make full use of multimedia to carry it out,and the collection of science content is mainly done by students,giving full play to the main role of students.(3)The development of experience(production)club activity curriculum resources.The themes are generally derived from textbooks but are not limited to the content of the textbooks.Attention should be paid to innovating the form of activities and expanding the content of activities.In addition,activities can be based on the experiences of students in terms of experience.Through the development of curriculum resources inside and outside the school from multiple aspects,students' practical ability will be improved,students' life cognition will be deepened,and students' emotional experience will be enriched.For the results of students' activities,we must leave traces to create new thinking sparks.Through this research,it is found that students' interest and ability in learning biology have been clearly improved,core competencies have been developed,and teachers' educational wisdom and teaching skills have also been clearly improved.In the part of summary and suggestions,the author points out the deficiencies of this research and puts forward the direction of future efforts.
