February 21,2006 issued the Central No.1 document pointed out that "the eleventh five-year period must be a solid and steady progress in the construction of new socialist countryside.This year the western region of rural compulsory education students will be exempted from tuition fees,among the poor families of students free of charge To provide textbooks and subsidized boarders living expenses."In 2007,this policy in the country generally implemented in rural areas.It is reasonable to say that the implementation of this policy,fundamentally solve those because of family economic difficulties and drop out of school children's reading problems,rural primary and secondary school students enthusiasm should be a great inspiration,rural primary and secondary schools should be a school of sound Lang Lang The scene.However,the reality is not optimistic.According to H,nearly seven years of junior high school education bulletin data and related periodicals literature shows that rural junior high school students drop out of school phenomenon still can not be ignored.In addition,the village of the author also appeared in a lot of junior high school students out of school to go out to work,this phenomenon caused the author's thinking Why in the case of increasing social development,there is still a certain amount of rural junior high school students drop out of the situation?Through the in-depth interviews with the teachers,principals,primary school teachers,principals,off-campus primary school boarding students and relevant students and parents,we will grasp the present situation of dropping out of rural junior middle school students from one side Features.Through the investigation,it is found that the main reason for the dropout phenomenon of junior middle school students in rural areas is as follows:First,from the perspective of education system,it is the result of alienation of educational policy.Although the nine-year compulsory education policy has expanded the scale of education and increased the education period,But the quality of education is not up to standard;Second,from the social level,"reading theory of useless" thinking still exists;Third,the social structural changes in factors that lead to junior high school students drop out of school an important reason.Dropout seems to be a process rather than an event or a result.The first chapter describes the social phenomenon of rural junior high school students drop out;the second chapter on the social phenomenon in the field survey on the basis of the review;the third chapter of the use of social change theory of the causes of this social phenomenon of surface analysis;The fourth chapter analyzes the deep-seated causes of this social phenomenon,and thinks that the root of this social phenomenon is that we have long regarded reading(or understanding)as a tool for obtaining subsistence information for a long time,While ignoring the reading can also improve a person,the role of a national wisdom.And to improve the wisdom of the Chinese nation is to achieve China's economic take-off,the cornerstone of cultural development,we must not ignore the event.The purpose of this study is to hope that more people to pay attention to rural education;on the other hand,also hope that through their own "reflection",so that we more profound understanding of people for the "reading".Reading is an important process of transforming people from "living man" to "society man" With a view to the reform of China's education in the new era.
