Labor education is an important part of the comprehensive education system,which aims at cultivating students' practical spirit and improving their ability to participate in labor,so as to improve their value guidance.The effective implementation of labor education in the new era cannot be separated from the cooperation of family and school.Only when family and school fully understand the significance of labor education,give play to their respective advantages and cooperate with each other,can they better play the role of labor education and train students to become self-care,self-reliant and responsible successors of the society.This study attempts to investigate and analyze the current situation of labor education in junior middle schools in China from the perspective of home-school co-education.Taking five junior high schools in Yantai City as examples,this study used questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to investigate students,parents,teachers and school administrators,to understand the current situation of home-school co-education implementation of junior high school labor education,to find out the existing problems and analyze the reasons,and then put forward countermeasures and suggestions for improvement.The study found that home school produced implementation secondary labor education exist the following problems: first,the school does not give full play to the guiding role of the labor education,embodied in the lack of specialized labor education curriculum,the lack of professional teachers,inadequate protection of the labor education material,the labor education evaluation mechanism is not mature,the school overall labor education atmosphere is not strong;Second,the basic role of family labor education is not obvious,reflected in the parents do not have a good understanding of labor education,family labor education atmosphere is not strong,family labor skills education is single,labor responsibility consciousness guidance is not enough;Third,the externalization of home-school co-education in labor education is manifested as the inadequate implementation of home-school responsibility in labor education,the imperfect home-school cooperation system,and the poor communication between home-school and labor education.The above problems,the reason is various,including:labor policy implementation deviation in education practice,the top design,lack of labor education and labor education of the school curriculum and comprehensive practice course is blurred,family labor education nowhere status inequality,family,school,home school produced on labor education lack of security system,etc.In view of the existing problems and their causes,this study puts forward the optimization countermeasures of implementing labor education in junior high school through home-school co-education.First,implement the concept of home-school co-education in junior high school;Secondly,the policy system of implementing junior high school labor education should be improved.Thirdly,strengthen the relevant training of teachers and parents;Finally,explore a new path of home-school labor education.
